"From the outside we were a little skeptical (old fashion motif). One step in the door and it felt like home. Warn, clean, and the lounge was PERFECT. We played cribbage and met some new friends. We will definitely be back! What a great little place!"

I was surprised it was not busier for a Saturday night but most likely not the ideal time to be touring for most people prior to the snow-sports and after fall colors. The property was easy to find and I appreciated a simple key versus electronic swipe cards so I could leave door unlocked for loading/unloading. "Overall stay was nice and conveniently located super close to swimming in Lake Superior and a lot of hiking trails. Only suggestion for improvement I had was maybe making it super clear in listing that this is a split unit with an upstairs unit and downstairs. So if looking for something more secluded then maybe look elsewhere. But the other side to that is this being the perfect place for 2 families/friend groups to book at the same time as there is a staircase that conveniently leads to both...
