"Check in was fast and easy. The woman working was very pleasant and helpful. The room was a nice size for one night for two people with a small sofa and queen bed. The hotel was quiet. The area around it is far enough away from the highway so you don’t hear that noise but close enough for quick and easy access. "Mayor Lord's is a lovely property. The carriage house is spacious and lovingly decorated. However, with an absent host by design it is a rather cold place. I understand the concerns surrounding Covid, and the desire for a contactless B&B, but it makes a sterile atmosphere. The $10 voucher is an attempt at breakfast. The over riding charm of a B&B is the interaction among the guests and the host. All that being said I would like to stay there in 2025 when my grandson graduates."

"Nice and out of the way. Away from the bustle. Very easy to work with. Kitchen had everything needed for cooking. There was even a grill on a deck that actually isn’t listed, but it was a bit cold still to really enjoy sitting outside. Sink was great and easy to clean dishes. Internet access was good, was able to watch some movies at the end of the day. Overall very good experience, even better than most places I’ve been. If I was ever in this area again, I would stay here."
