"Beautiful and all around great experience"

"My family of three had such a lovely stay at the Little Cat Lodge over the long 4th of July holiday. The hotel is so cute, and amenities were quaint but wonderful. The hostess and dining room staff were so kind to my 5 year old daughter. We loved the pool, it was such a lovely vibe swimming in the summer heat. The pool's lack of harsh chemicals was also refreshing - literally. Tasty food and drinks, and a view of the 4th of July fireworks at Catamount from our room was the cherry on top....

"This place is gross! The staff was terrible and tried to convince us we did not have a reservation. I don't think they changed the sheets from the last guest. It is a great location to downtown Hudson but be wary. "

"We stayed here for one night to break up a long drive, and overall it was a decent experience. The property itself is beautiful, with lots of plants and gardens, and it looks like the host is continually improving and adding to the space. The room was clean and comfortable once we got settled. When we arrived, it appeared the room hadn’t been cleaned yet, but after reaching out to Steven, he responded immediately and had his housekeeper come take care of it right away. "Highly recommend! We had our honeymoon here and it was a very beautiful historic building, very clean, and a very well-decorated room. Comfy beds, gorgeous bathroom, and spacious; true to the photos. The staff were very warm and welcoming and quickly responsive. Only wish was that the TV in the community room was a smart TV because we wanted to watch the World Cup but the Regular TV did not have it available. Highly recommend a stay! "The staff is lovely and accommodating. I had booked the only room where pets are allowed though ultimately declined to bring mine. Happy to say there was no evidence a pet had ever stayed there. The room was spotless, tastefully renovated with no sign of wear or tear. While the room is not very large, the bathroom was spacious and the accommodations seemed suitable for a small to mid-sized pet. "The room was clean and nicely decorated. There is no staff on the property, but were reachable via text. There were snacks in the kitchen and a fridge to store a few things in. The parking is limited & inconvenient, having to move our car from one side of the street to another to adhere to odd/even days. We enjoyed the outdoor space."

I guess I should have checked the restaurant hours before booking. Most of the town had businesses that were closed in the middle of the week, so just be aware when you book.
