"Great Historic Building with a very fresh look and helpful staff."

"The cabin was not clean, there was food left in the refrigerator and used coffee grounds left in the coffee machine, the freezer was dirty and the floors were dirty as well, The garbage pail was not clean. The downtown offered no breakfast locations, or restaurants, only a bar across the street. Overall, we will not be staying at this location in the future."

"Great place to stay for a quick getaway near the lake for fishing."

"All the cabins on the property appear be getting exterior renovations. Cabin #4 looked like it had recieved minor exterior repair with other places needing minor attention. Overall the cabins look solid and sturdy with great integrity. Very accommodating amenities to comfortably sleep and house the 4 of us plus our pup.The cabin essentials were in good operating condition with a back-up window AC that did a wonderful job keeping the unit cool and comfortable. The coffee pot needed a deeper clean...

"The owners are very nice and courteous. There isn’t WiFi so prepare for that if you need it. Other than that everything else was perfect."

"I was pleasantly surprised.Great value. And this hostGoes abouve and beyond. Loved it."

"Great location, easy to get to and not far from a main town for groceries and gas!! Highly recommend!!"

"Host was responsive and check in and out was smooth. Love how close to the lake this property is and good parking. Good WiFi connection. Property could be cleaner. There was leftover moldy potatoes wedges in the oven that I had to clean out. Main thing I did not like about this location is the train that came through every few hours throughout the night and day. Day was fine but very disruptive to sleep at night."

" Everything was great comfortable lil cabin for 2 people would book again "

"Have stayed here before and will come back again! So quiet and clean! Love the shelter also. Very nice host!"

"Cozy, comfy get away. Owners very easy to reach and responsive to a problem we had (that was in no way their fault). "

"Cozy cabin with a fantastic view of the local fireworks."

"We had a great time staying here for a family wedding! The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed. The owners responded right away with our questions. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Great location for boating at lake Rathbun. Quiet neighborhood. We would stay again. Definitely recommend it."

"This was a fantastic VRBO…I’ve never had a host contact me as soon as I booked to thank me for renting their place! & that was just the start…Randy gave us directions of where to fish, along with leaving us a map. If I had a question, he answered right away. The house was incredibly stocked, ie: paper towels, napkins, shampoo, soap…the list goes on & on. I’m sure we will be back & I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!"
