"I had a room with king bed, and I was very happy staying at the quality lakeside bendigo. Everything was in "like new"condition. The bed was comfortable, the sheets were clean, the aircon heated the room quickly, and the bathroom was spacious. I enjoyed the location near the lake, and the restaurant in the hotel was convenient and good. All service staff where very kind. "

"The room was spotlessly clean and well appointed. Really liked the fully featured kitchenette with cook-top, fridge and microwave oven (something you don't often see in hotel rooms). Nice hot shower. Convenient parking, almost outside our door. Only a couple of minor disappointments; 1). there were no electric blankets on the bed (we didn't want to run the split-system heating all night to keep warm). 2). we had a not very romantic view of the rainwater storage tanks directly outside our window."

"We have stayed at Alexandra Place several times and have always enjoyed our stay. The rooms are clean, comfortable and welcoming. The staff are friendly and helpful. The dining options at the Lake View Hotel next door are varied and delicious! The location is handy to all Bendigo’s attractions. We heartily recommend Alexandra Place and will definitely stay here again when we next visit Bendigo."

"For a low budget Motel the room was clean, quiet and comfortable and good value for money. Comfortable bed and would stay there again. Shopping not within walking distance but a take away pizza shop and Petrol station with well stocked convenience store 150 mtrs away. Limited stock of alcoholic bevereges available at Reception."
