"Best day of a nine day trip had a different hotel room every night and this by far was the best and most comfortable. Would have loved to stay here several more days. Comfortable rooms and property was bigger than we needed, but was the only one left that was dog friendly. "

"We spent two nights here after several days of camping in Wrangell St. Elias and Glen Allen. This was a perfect place to recharge- the house was very comfortable, with everything we needed and plenty of space for our family of four to relax.The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and utensils. Bed & bath linens were lovely. Deanna kindly checked in after our first night, and made a couple of recommendations for the remainder of our time.We wished we could have stayed for longer!"

"Our stay at the cabin was brief, but was exactly what we needed. It was clean, comfortable and provided facilities to fix our meals and prep for our shuttle to Kennicott and overnight stay there. It was so very convenient that the shuttle picked up at the property and that we were able to leave our car overnight. I had so many questions and the host was very responsive. It was great meeting the owner upon our return and we truly appreciated the gift they sent us on our way with ;) Thank you! "

"Although there is no indoor bathroom, the outhouse was more than adequate for folks who camp. The bed was comfortable, the host had the cabin warmed up and greeted us in a friendly manner and was happy to show us around their Alaska homestead. I would definitely recommend this spot as long as you don't mind some road noise"

"Very spacious and clean facility for our family of 4. The advertised place is in the basement of the dome house (not the dome) and host lives upstairs. They allow usage of the upstairs fireplace and grill outside. Very warm and considerate host. Glad we stayed here. "

"We love spending labor day at this camp! The views are amazing. The property is great to use for adults and kids. There is so much exploring to do all around. "

"Michael and Victoria love what they do, and it shows. The cabin was clean and comfortable, fishing was productive and fun (and the dog showed us where the fish were!) and the gourmet meals were incredible! If we are back in the area, we'll be back for sure!"

"We had a wonderful stay at Sonya's home in Valdez. This is very close to the town and multiple trails. Amazing views all around with a very comfortable home."

"It had everything we needed. Neighborhood is about 6 miles to town. "

"We’re a family of 6 with 4 teenage boys winding our way through AK for the first time. Valdez is our midway point and the historic house was perfect. It is quirky and quaint which adds appeal. We loved that we had a kitchen and space to spread out. The washer and dryer were put to great use and being able to walk everywhere was perfect! We rented bikes from the Fat Mermaid and tried out ice cream from a couple of the stands. Walking to Safeway was helpful in making meals and we just enjoyed...
