Perfect Spot!

We have stayed here two years in a row. It is an excellent location - close to beach and an easy drive into downtown Destin. Always clean and ready for us when we arrive!

Cold on the beach

Nice place. Could have been cleaner. Sofa sleeper was not comfortable at all. We enjoyed our stay.

Overall good experience

This was a good property for my family of four. We had a couple issues with the pool gate code and the wi-fi, but overall good experience. Pool furniture could use an update.

Great location

This was a very nice condo on the ground floor. It looks fairly new but if not has been well maintained. It's in a great location close to restaurants that we love and Starbucks was close by too! Would definitely rent again!

Beach vibes

I came for surgery. The property has a ramp and is on the ground level. It’s right across the street to the beaches. Very nice. Great washer and dryer, nice property management. Would stay again. Close to everything.

A few misquotes

The pictures doesn’t tell the whole story. Some of the pics are not of the property for one. Yes the beach is close however the condos on the actual beach in front has all the beachline with tables and chairs and a small section for people who rented property that is not on the beachline so access to the beach is pretty minimum. Unless you go to the beach at 5pm when they take them down. The hot tub is still down after a whole year? Why is that the case? Overall it was ok but not what i paid for.

Excellent location!

Overall this condo has an excellent location and all the amenities that anyone would want for an excellent beach getaway. However there were a couple of snags. The first day there we had no wifi connection,but it was quickly remedied. Secondly, the condos hot tub was not working which is a huge bummer for the parents when a dip in the hot tub when the kids swam at night would have been ideal. Lastly, we did see some clothing items that were missed by housekeeping during the cleaning under the bed. Bonus socks ;)

Mother/ daughter vacation

I’ll start with you can’t beat the location. We used to own a property here so we knew we would have a great location and excited to come back after 18 years. Wow has Destin changed, lots of things to do close by. I read the reviews and thought the property sounded great. Everything was good except the shower. They have not fixed the clogging in the bath tub so every time you shower you’re standing in dirty water. I did contact management and they said they’d have to assess the situation but they should have already done that since there’s been so many complaints. The cleaning was ok, the floors were not washed as our feet were filthy on day one. Only other thing I could suggest is more blankets as we were a little cold at night with the light bedding.

Waiste of Money

When we arrived we immediately noticed how dirty the cottage floor and bathrooms were. The floor had specs of chipped off white paint, most likely from the poorly painted trim, and the trim was supposed to be white. It was instead full of dirt and dust like no one had ever cleaned the baseboards. The bathroom had wire shelving that was discolored from the amount of dirt and dust caked on them. The kitchen cabinet was left open, and then realized it was broken and wouldn't even close. The rug wasn't vacuumed and had pink glitter all over it. The entrance door was too small and bairly closed. There was a strong breeze that came from it which caused the back of the cottage to be cold. (It was only mid 60s when we were there.) Then, checkout is at 10am and the "cleaning crew" came busting in at 9am before we even checked out. I would not waisted my money on it and honestly think we deserve, at least, the cleaning fee back since they obviously don't clean.

Great location

Great overall It would have been great to have been provided with minimum items such as. Salt and pepper Dish rack and sponge Beach towels and beach chairs. Had a good time would recommend the property. Was perfect for a couple.

Walking distance to Beach.

I really enjoyed staying here, had all the amenities of home. Loved being on ground floor and sitting on the front porch in the early mornings and late evenings enjoying the weather. An extra plus with the washer and dryer 😊. Excited to be just walking distance to the beach and being able to rent chairs and a umbrella a plus for this family. Thank you for a great experience!!

Lacking in communication

Property is not bad it's pretty small though we are a family of 5, 2 adults and 3 small kids and it was pretty cramped. It was pretty clean i just had to sweep up a little up on arrival because there was some sand on the floor but everything else looked good. the location is nice it's a short walk to the beach and the beach wasn't crowded. The washing machine in the unit had a bad smell so we ended up not using it. Also the unit was very low stocked. We only got 1 toilet paper roll and we were staying there for 5 nights and we only got 2 garbage bags. We ended up going to Walmart and buying more toilet paper and garbage bags. Overall the stay would of been great if it wasn't for the property management lacking in communication. We were given a pass code to the pool and it was the wrong code I was calling and messaging for 2 days trying to get the correct code and I was told we will call hoa see if they changed the code I was told someone will go out there and see what's wrong and someone will get back to me. NO ONE ever got back to me, a little girl at the pool saw me struggling and gave me the right code, which was no where near the code I was given by real joy. They also said that if the bathroom code works the pool code should too because it's always the same, well it's not it was 2 different codes. The communication is definitely not there and was a big disappointment.

A couple suggestions….

The property met all of our expectations. Only a couple minor suggestions… provide a hair dryer, provide a mirror somewhere in the unit other than the bathroom. (Living room wall or bedroom wall/door) It is difficult for more than one person to get ready at the same time without an additional mirror. And there was a foul odor in the washing machine.

Unit needs a new dryer or at least cleaned better.

The dryer needs to be cleaned better. I could not use it because it kept ripping my clothes. My clothes kept getting caught in the lint trap and ripping because it is not properly cleaned.

Very nice

This property was everything I expected. A cozy little condo right by the beach. Just right for our two children (ages 2 and 9),my spouse and I. It was perfect for our weekend trip. Very clean and nicely decorated. Great for a small family.
