The only problem we had was cooling of guest bedroom. We didn't realize till the last 4 days of our stay because that's when our guests arrived. Maintenance came and opened the vent (which had been closed) yet it still didn't cool to the temperature in the rest of the condo. Otherwise, fabulous stay.

Excellent Property!

We really enjoyed our stay! The condo was beautiful, spacious & clean. We loved how close parking was to the elevators and condo steps away from elevators. No wait times at all. We felt very safe at this property and loved the private beach. We also enjoyed the pools and other amenities. We will definitely be back next year!

Perfect place to stay!

This condo is amazing!! It is one of the nicest we have ever stayed in. It is very clean and well maintained. The entire property is well managed and maintained! Will certainly stay here again. But next time, I will take my own beach towels…which would be my only negative. And that’s not really a negative. But when flying, it is difficult to add those to the luggage.

Great property!

What struck me most about our stay at this property was the excellence of the property management group. Their costumer service was absolutely stellar! If we had any questions or problems they were quick to respond and resolve them! This is so much the case that for my next vacation to Destin, I will first look at properties managed by Compass Resorts. It terms of the property itself, it was great! The location was perfect as it was right on the beach. The daily beach amenity of chais & umbrella was an added bonus. We did not spend any time at the beautiful pool because it was too crowded for our comfort giving the status of the pandemic and that my kids weren’t yet able to be vaccinated. The pool is shared by 5 buildings which explains the number of families enjoying it. The unit was adequately sized for our family of 4, although I wish the second bedroom had 2 beds instead of one king. However, they provided plenty of bed linens for the sofa bed. Assigned parking for the unit in the garage was right at the door and carts were available for easy transport of luggage and groceries. And speaking of groceries, the kitchen was well stocked with all you need to cook and live there for a week. Something unique (to me) about this property was that there were only 4 units per floor by the elevator on each side. That meant it was no problem with overcrowded elevators. Since COVID, we have only stayed in private houses so we didn’t have to interact too much with people outside of our bubble. This building setup was perfect for that. Overall I loved this property and would definitely return!

Great stay! Love Silver Shells!

We like staying at Silver Shells! We enjoyed our condo, and its location. I think the beds and sofa need replacing soon because they were not very comfortable. Everything else was great though!

Great Getaway

Our unit was immaculate and beautifully appointed. This resort is exactly as pictured. The pool water was chilly - time to turn on the heater. Perfect weather and a chance to eat, drink and be merry with old friends. Already planning a spring return.

Beautiful view with great logistics

This was the best parking lot to room logistics I have experienced on a beach trip. The assigned parking spot is 50ft from the elevator and the room is 30 ft once you get to the 5th floor. The view over the pool to the ocean is very nice. Some of the bathroom tile and fixtures are a little 90's but very clean and we'll kept. I would highly suggest this unit!

Everything was great except the bedrooms did not get really cool at night. The one without the master bath was hotter than the other. And the toilet not attached to the bedroom overflowed a few times. But other than that we really enjoyed our stay. The view was fantastic.
