The condo was clean and comfy. You can listen to live music from the balcony, coming from onsite bar area on the weekends. The pool is great! Plenty of room to spread out and lounge all day. Restaurants, shopping and beach are all close by. Great place to stay. I would recommend you bring cleaning sprays or Clorox wipes to clean. No food items are kept in the condo. So bring your sugar and spices if you plan to cook. Over all, I would definitely stay again!

Nice condo with easy access to elevators & pool area. King bedroom was great, second bedroom was very small with very little storage area for personal items. Both restrooms were nice in size, kitchen and living/dining area was good. The pool view was obstructed by trees/bushes so very little clear view. This was our second stay at The Palms and overall enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.

Yearly Family Getaway

We come to the Destin area every summer to visit family nearby. This was our first time at the Palms. This place was great for amenities and the kids had a great stay and the pools were awesome. We did have a couple of issues, but they were quick to respond and took care of them. Communication was great. There were just some unpleasant smells down the hallways and outside the resort, some of them not related to the resort itself that were not family appropriate. Our expectations were a little higher, but overall it was a good stay.

Overall good stay. Key location to most places you might visit. Henderson Beach is literally less than a 5 minute drive except for the wait time to pay for parking. Not really a walking location in my opinion. The unit is pretty much what is described and shown. Wish the trees outside our window weren’t there because it blocked the view of the pool area. There were the basics there to get started (dish soap, paper towels, etc.). Some things in the room could use some updates. The washer and dryer were great to have but the dryer took several cycles to get clothes dry. At check out, we couldn’t get the dishwasher to start (we hand washed everything up to that point). I did have to contact management for the fridge and for the dishwasher, but they reached out in a timely manner to resolve the issues. The unit overall was clean, but they could most definitely work on dusting. The drain plug for the main bedroom bathroom was also broken and sitting on the side of the tub when we got there. Loved having 2 bathrooms though! The trash chute was too full towards the end of the stay so trash bags were just placed on floor near it. Several days during our stay there was the same spots of crumbs of food and dirt in the hallways that never got vacuumed up. The pool was beautiful and a great amenity to have access too. At times it was dirty from bugs and debris though. The poolside bar option was great! There is a shuttle available for guests at like $2 per person, but we just drove to our destinations. There is a parking garage with plenty of parking available. At check in and check out, they had carts available for us to load all of our stuff on to help get it unloaded and loaded back up. Check in time is a little late in my opinion and check out time is a little early. We made it work though. Walmart is nearby too so that was great! They do not provide pool towels so make sure you bring beach towels. Having a beach umbrella, beach chairs or beach wagon available to use in the unit would be a good addition. The space worked for us. The 2nd bedroom is pretty small (not much of a room really) but it was a cute bed that accommodated 3 people to sleep. The front sign to the building was missing some of the letters and could use an update. Overall, pretty satisfied and would probably stay again.

Sweet 16 Vacation

This is something our whole family enjoyed. We enjoyed our room, the restaurant, the pool, and the hot tub. We were able to shop around at Destin Commons and come back to enjoy more of the resort. This is definitely a place I will be recommending to people. Can't wait until our next room is booked

The room was not really clean.

Upon arrival we had to wipe everything down with Clorox wipes. I sent a message to the property about some of the gross things that we encountered, but never got a response! We took pictures before having to clean.
