We had a beautiful view of the gulf from our balcony The condo was clean & had room for 6 to be comfortable There was a washer & dryer in the condo so we could bring home clean clothesThe kitchen has everything you need The pool was clean & comfortably warm Easy access to the beach White sand & clear water It was so nice to have a parking space in the garage We would consider coming back to stay there again !

Beautiful Destin Condo

Beautiful Ocean and pool views. Nice balconies from each bedroom and living room. Clean and comfortable. Pool and beach was great. Sand Bar was nice for ordering food and drinks on the beach, with live music on the weekend evenings. Check out of Tennis equipment was easy. Overall a very enjoyable stay. Would go again.

Family Vacation

We booked this condo as a family vacation to celebrate my daughter’s high school graduation. It was even better in person than the pictures online! Everything about it was perfect and absolutely beautiful! I would definitely book it again.

Perfect for Family Birthday

This was the perfect location and space for our family of 6. The listing was just as indicated, offered all the amenities we needed, including kitchen supplies to cook a large meal. There was a enough space which didn't feel crowded, for 5 adults and 1 child. Close proximity to all the restaurants, shipping and a few steps distance to nice Lagoon pool and beach. We will be making this an annual family event and this will be our preferred location.

First timers to Destin from Indiana

This three bedroom, three bath condominium was beautifully decorated and accommodated our family perfectly! The ocean view from the 9th floor was stunning! The unit has its own parking spot in the underground garage with a nearby elevator. During our stay, we never had to wait on an elevator due to large crowds. Our children and grandchildren loved the pool accommodations and also the two beach chairs and umbrella, which were included with the rental. We were able to rent additional chairs and umbrellas to accommodate the entire family. Silver Shells St Croix is located perfectly to dining and shopping. We loved the Back Porch restaurant and the candy shop, which were both within walking distance! We would highly recommend this unit!!

Perfect location

We had an issue with key fob that didn’t work. Contacted property mgmt & was told there was nobody to help us until 9:00am the following morning. I would suggest having on site support for these types of issues to resolve immediately. According to the person I spoke to, many vacationers were having issues with non working fobs & those are needed to get around property & to beach. My son actually got stranded in garage for a time cause he grabbed the nonworking fob

We vacationed with my sister and her family and we couldn't have enjoyed it more! Check in was easy and were were able to get into our unit very early and enjoy the beach right away. This unit was very clean and had everything you needed for your stay. Full size washer and dryer. They even had games, beach chairs (simple but still useful for kids) and some beach toys. It was a perfect view as this building is in the middle (St. Croix). Great balcony size to enjoy the sunrise,sunset and everything in between. Had grills accessible downstairs. Having a covered space to park was a plus and especially the huge, perfectly temperature pool since there were a couple of red flag days due to currents.That saved the day so we all could still enjoy being in the water. We also made use of the smaller pool by the spa...nice and quiet. The tennis courts and basketball courts were great too. It would've been nice to have lighting on both courts since it gets dark relatively early during spring break time so having use of the courts into part of the evening would've been nice.It was great not having to fight crowds for the elevators since there were private elevators per side. Easy walk to the pool and beach and the beach bar had entertainment so that made it enjoyable while having a drink. The best part was having the beach chairs and umbrella included in the rental!! The guys who ran it were great and really made an effort to move you into prime locations as the week went on and people left. Great location on the strip, close to grocery stores, restaurants and the mall. We would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful unit but patio furniture was old/terriblewould have given a 4 if not for that.

Great condo, we really liked it. Negatives are no towel bars in the master bathroom but biggest issues was the bad patio furniture. Part of furniture was rusted with jagged edges, very dangerous. Compass Resorts was quit to replace it but replacements were 3 uncomfortable chairs so was not happy about that.

FANTASTIC!

As an Avid traveler, we stay in many panhandle and Orlando condos - 906 St. Croix was simply wonderful. Huge 9th floor space with beautiful view of the ocean through massive sliding glass doors. Plenty of beds and bedding, ample dishes glasses, and updated kitchen appliances (bosh washer - Whirlpool fridge) as well as newer Samsung washing machine/dryer. Internet was solid and secure, I tested it at 25mbps during our stay. When we return to Destin this is where we will be - no questions asked. Thank you for hosting us!!

Love this Condo!!

Perfect spring break week in Destin. Easy check in and very accommodating staff. Beautiful view, quiet resort location, nice condo. This resort is perfect for our family and friends. The cabana adds a nice, convenient touch. Highly recommend Silver Shells to anyone visiting Destin.

Great Condo with Excellent View

I am a little hesitant to write a review of this condo because I would like to keep it all to myself! The worst thing about it is that I had to leave. The Silver Shells property is excellent - kept clean, nice landscaping and secure. Compass Resorts did a great job making sure the condo was clean and ready upon our arrival. The only improvement I could suggest is upgrading the Internet connection. When I would attempt to connect securely to my work's server, it would time out because the connection was so slow. However, I took this as a sign from God to not work and only focus on enjoying myself with my family, the resort, Destin and my condo. This is the 2nd time I have stayed in this condo and will definitely book it again. Perfect walking distance to the Back Porch Restaurant for take-out orders. Fully functional grills on site and the condo had all cookware necessary to steam 9 oz. lobster tails we bought. Overall, i give this condo a very high rating and that is not easy for me to give out. Another thing is considering the interaction I had with another real estate management company last year, I am very appreciative of Compass Resorts ease of working with and great management of this property.

WEEK IN DESTIN

We loved this condo. The view from the balcony was wonderful, especially being on the 9th floor. The furnishings were fine, and the condo was in good condition. We really appreciated the security which is in place. The property was well-kept. The pool area was very nice, the gym was well-run, and things were kept trimmed and clean. We liked the location. We were able to to walk to the Back Porch Restaurant and Ruth's Chris is on the property. Shopping and other restaurants were close by. The two suggestions we have are: 1) The appliances should be updated. The coffee maker is outdated, and the washer/dryer were just sufficient. They don't have to be top-of-the line, but should work on all cycles, etc. 2) The sliding glass door to the balcony is very difficult to open and close, which should be "fixable". We would rent this condo again, and we would recommend it to others.
