50th birthday vacation

We had an amazing and relaxing time in Destin at the condo. Beautiful views of the beach and pool. Only steps from the actual beach. Condo was well stocked and very clean. Shopping and restaurants were extremely convenient and easy to navigate.

Just what we were looking for

The condo was ideal for us; three couples, all grandparents. The bedrooms were just what we needed, the kitchen was well sized and planned. The terrace overlooking the pool area and ocean was excellent. The covered and reserved parking was easy to use and very secure. The pool area was spacious and pleasant. We took advantage of the umbrella and chais reaction, and I highly recommend it, well worth the $30 per couple There are plenty of quality restaurants in the area, and food delivery required going downstairs to meet the driver, but it was never an issue.

Great value and location

Loved to stay here. Communication was very clear and on point! Apartment was very clean and comfortable with many accommodations. If I had to say anything about this I would suggest letting travelers know that you will need to get your own spices like salt and pepper, more trash bags, shampoo and dish soap, especially if you’re staying more than 3 days. The view was spectacular and we had an excellent time in this beautiful place! I will definitely recommend and come back again.

Girl's Birthday Getaway

We booked this condo for a long weekend to celebrate our birthdays. It was perfect. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom. It was clean, very private and quiet. We didn't hear anything from any other units. The view of the ocean was amazing. Complimentary beach service was awesome, we appreciated having that option. The location is central to shopping, restaurants, anything you might want to do. I would definitely recommend this condo, and plan to stay again in the future.

Great Condo for Family Vacation

We had our first family vacation in Destin with our family and my husbands family. The condo was great, pool was awesome and right on the beach. It included a set of umbrella and chairs with a $300+ savings. The whole family loved the property and we are already planning to book the same condo for next summer vacation

Great location and condo

The condo was great! Right on the beach, nice pool. It looked just like the listing. We had a great time, everyone there was friendly. We had a small issue with check in. we booked under my profile but another family member arrived first to check in. I had added this person to both the vrbo booking as well as the guest portal directly with the property. I also called ahead of time to let them know this other person would be arriving first to check in and they said it would be no problem. Eventually they did let them check in but it wasn’t smooth. So maybe a disconnect with the portal and the front desk? But in the end it was worked out. Other than the small bump everything was great! Would definitely stay again.

Some good, some bad

The good... The balcony was our favorite part, spacious with plenty of seating and a great view of the beach. The water was clear enough to see the dolphins swimming by even when not breaking the surface much. My wife loved this. The layout was great for us, especially having a full bathroom for each of the three bedrooms. The bad... Temps were mid 50's for two days, mid 60s for one, then low 70's the last two. The gulf water was frigid all week, teeth chattering cold. Very few people were in it and not for long periods of time. I read a review that only one side of the pool was heated. When I asked upon check in, I was told that heat was only turned on when the homeowners told them to turn it on, and it currently was not. So the pool was practically empty the first few days, turning the hot tubs into swimming pools for kids. We think the heat might have been turned on mid-week, not entirely sure. I was extremely disappointed by the amount I paid for this stay and the pool was not heated to be useable. The maintenance of the condo was the other part of the 3 star overall review. We found loose drawer handles in an end table that belonged to the front entrance table. The master bath shower lightbulb did not work. But my main thing was the "kids" room had an outlet behind one of the beds missing the outlet cover. Dangerous reaching back there to plug something in. These bothered me the most because for a few dollars and 15 minutes, they could all have been fixed easily.

Great stay, but needs a deep cleaning.

Great location, great view and very spacious! I’d definitely recommend A different cleaning crew though. The top of the refrigerator had a ton of dust, the legs of the coffee table and along the baseboards and edges of the floor. The jets of the master bathtub were yucky. Overall great stay.

Excellent location, view and property. Would stay at again. Only a couple of things i did not like was the one king bedrooms bathroom was accessed through the hallway and not the room. And that same bedroom could use blackout curtains,.

Beautiful, but…

Almost everything was perfect. Excellent use of space, well equipped kitchen, lovely decor. The view, oh my! Stunning! My hubs and I highly value a good nights sleep, TOGETHER. I say that bc that time is limited for us since I am a night shift RN & he’s a day shift RN. The mattress was OK, but the bed creaked with any tiny movement. And it was LOUD. We like to watch TV in bed & I like to read in bed, the abundance of pillows was great, but the creaking bed was overly annoying. It woke us up constantly when one of us would barely roll over. Hubs even thought about taking it apart & rubbing soap on the joints (the man can fix anything & is good at it) and we decided against that for obvious reasons. It nearly ruined any plans of getting frisky - with 3 teenagers nearby… We couldn’t wait to sleep in our own “quiet” bed. Couldn’t get the sliding bedroom door open. We all tried. 🤷🏻‍♀️ But the 2 in the living room worked just fine, so it wasn’t a real problem. The Compass Resort co was great. When the AC quit they were quick to act. Even checked with me to be sure it was working properly. It did for a few hours but quit again. They ended up having to call an outside vendor, apparently it needed charged. Compass called me, but no one was there on the line… we thought maybe it was to tell us someone was on their way. Good thing we hung around the second time & waited. Compass had come up and opened the door, put the door stop down for it to stay open - while we were on the patio… We had come inside, discovered this & decided to stay inside bc we thought the whole thing was odd, the phone call from compass with no one there, then they prop open the door. But within the hour a gentleman came in & it was obvious he was there for the AC. He was nice enough & fixed it but it this took almost all of our Saturday. There’s lots to do nearby for everyone & the pools & hot tubs were great. Grocery is right up the street. We loved the Harbor Boardwalk. Kids loved the track, putt-putt & shopping. Beautiful, lovely condo that felt really spacious. I’d stay again if they fixed that bed!

Best Condo in Destin!

We’ve come to Destin countless times and have stayed at many of the beachfront resorts. This was our first time at Silver Beach Towers 404E and is by far our favorite condo and complex we’ve ever stayed at! Clean and spacious with gorgeous views. Stocked well and plenty enough room for my family of 7 (5 kids ages 11-21) to live like we were home away from home. Easy check in and parking. We will definitely be back!! Our only regret is it took us 10+ years to finally see the gem at this complex is!
