Renovation disturbance

Property was great. Everything was as described. Plenty of elevators, no long waits. Easy access to beach.We didnt give a 5 star because of the floor renovation that was taking place above us during our stay. Apparently, owners of the properties dont have to let anyone know they are renovating. Even in prime season. We contacted the HOA and the owner of our unit and no one took any responsibility. We were Very disappointed in how things were handled. We were told we could leave our vacation and be refunded a day or if we come back, we could get a discount. Not good customer service with the property owner.

Wonderful First Impression

Our family's first vacation to Destin and could not be more pleased with the accomodations! The unit we rented was charming, very clean and generously apportioned. Overall the resort has plenty of amenities and of course the private beach is an added bonus.

Overall, we had an excellent stay! The condo looked exactly like pictures. It was equipped with everything we needed and was very clean, and spacious and the beds were comfortable. Having a washer and dryer in the condo was a plus as well. The hosts were very responsive and provided a lot of helpful information on the area. There is plenty to do within walking distance. The tiki bar and three pools were a nice perk! We would definitely stay here again! One thing to keep in mind that we wish we had a little more clarity on (no fault of the hosts, they explained everything well). -during busy times, you almost have to rent chairs to ensure getting a spot so make sure you figure that in to your budget. You can take your own (which they have in the condo) but if they need the space for the rented chairs, you risk not having any beach space. If you don’t rent for multiple days, you have to stand in line every morning to ensure a spot. However, the staff for the beach rentals was very accommodating! The pool chairs fill up very quickly, so it helps to get down there early as well.

Gorgeous view, multiple pools with different cultures depending on what your family is looking for, very family friendly resort. Condo had everything you need, comfortable and homey, loved the games & dvd options for family time after a day in the sun!

Wonderful vacation!

We had a wonderful time in Destin! This condo is about a 30-40 minute drive from the airport. We are a family of six with four children ages 7, 11, 13 and 16. With the pull out sofa, the condo was the perfect amount of space for us and our kids. We used the cafe and Tiki bar often during the day while we spent time at the pool and beach. It was very handy to have those things on site!

Destin family trip

We have a granddaughter that was having a first birthday and lives in the Pensacola area. My wife and I and her parents made an extended stay and picked just the right place. Close to anything and everything you’d want. Although it offers a cafe and tiki hut poolside. It was fantastic. We cooked in several times and had everything we needed to do so. We also cooked steaks on the grills outside. They have a great cookout area with at least 4-5 grills and they are clean! We’ll definitely book again and tell our families and friends. Great facility!

Cute rental right on the beach

Lots of amenities and right on the beach! Great view. We appreciated the kitchen supplies and updated decor. Everything worked great and no complaints. The facility was perfect with a gym, pool, and cafe which we loved. The location was perfect and close to many nice restaurants, the outlet mall, and San Destin. The facility is good for families but also great for adults without children. Beds were comfortable and we loved the ceiling fans in the bedrooms. We loved the condo and would definitely return!! Minor suggestion: we would recommend revising the rental agreement wording so that it is clear the beach chairs/umbrella provided are not the standard resort ones and that you have them available in the condo so that renters who arrive early understand they have to rent the resort ones. Thank you!

Disappointed

The resort itself was in a great location, close to everything. The night of arrival we pulled out the sofa bed for my daughter to sleep on and there was a Q-tip and you could tell the sheets had not been cleaned. I do not know why we were charged a cleaning fee. I texted the owner the next day since it was 10:30 when we saw this. She apologized and said she would have the housekeeper return to take care of it. She never did come nor did the owner check to see if it was reconciled the entire 6 days of our stay. For this reason I cannot recommend staying here.

Pelican beach condo , 15th floor

We had a wonderful stay at Pelican Beach resort. We had a few minor issues upon check in with the room not being cleaned (which is the only reason why I can’t give it a five), however the owners were very quick to remedy this. Only advice for owners would be the addition of a full length mirror. Several times throughout the week our entire party wished that we had one! (Everyone wants to see how they look in their swimsuit that day!) We loved the beach side food and drink service. Everyone was very friendly.
