We are currently staying at one of the properties in Crystal Beach. Our check in date was 5/24. We were assured extra cleaning measures would be in place due to the current Covid situation. Upon arriving, we found our rental property absolutely disgusting. Not only were no extra cleaning measures taken, there was not even standard procedures done. The only thing that had done to the property prior to our arriving was new toiletries had been set out. There were hairs in every shower, the floors in the entire house still had sticky residue on them, the kitchen counters had crumbs all over them, the bathroom counters were sticky and grimy. We had to wash all the towels due to hairs being on them and bedding as well. The pool also had sun glasses, a debit card and trash lying in the bottom of it, as well as a beer can and trash in the filter. The carriage house was also disgusting. It had not been cleaned at all either. Dirty laundry was found in 2 of the beds, so that means the bedding was not changed at all from the past guests. The floor had not been vacuumed, the sink doesn’t drain, food left in cabinets and the entire place clearly not cleaned at all. My husband and I had to immediately go spend $100 in cleaning supplies out of our pocket plus spend 2 hours before our other guests arrived to clean the house. I called the emergency maintenance number and waited on hold for 30 minutes the day of check in and just to be told “Sorry for the inconvenience and they would have someone to the house at 10am the next day to clean “again” “. No one ever showed up as promised. On top of all that, there is no beach view as described in the property description and photos. And the public beach area was a joke as far as size. This has most certainly been out first and last time renting a property with this company. Beware of renting.
