Great location. Easy golf cart ride to the beach. A handful of restaurants are a walkable distance. The pool is very private. Plenty of outdoor space in the pool area.

Loved the space and the poolBeds needs better mattresses.Reair people never returned to fix the tvs upstairs and master bedroom. Disappointed Wifi was awful - had to use our hot spot Repairman did replace the annoying sound of a low battery on the glass door going out to the pool

I’ve had better for cheaper

This is not our first rodeo with the neighborhood. This house looks wonderful in the pictures and is beautiful inside. I love the floor plan. It’s just obvious that there is wear and tear. 1.) Found two roaches as I was eating breakfast. They came in from the sliding doors. Not a big deal but sorta is. They said they sprayed after I called. Could have been better communication so I knew they had been there while we were gone. Feeling reassured matters. 2.) We had to fill the pool due to a small leak. The maintenance man just showed up out of nowhere and started filling the pool. That’s how we found out. There was a leak. 3.) the dryer was a hit or miss on drying the clothes. I usually had to run it twice, and the loads were not extremely large.4.) one of the golf carts breaks not the best. My husband and myself on two different occasions without communicating realized that both of us had experienced not being able to stop completely when backing out of the driveway with oncoming traffic.Maintenance did come by, but they said he felt like the brakes were fine that it was just a different style of golf cart. I’ve drove many golf carts and this is the only one I’ve had that experience with.5.) the downstairs master bath had very cool water for the showers. I had to call maintenance and they came by and realized the water heater needed to be replaced. The day we were packing up to leave they came by and replaced it. Glad we could supply a hot shower for the next family

Our Daughter’s Senior Trip

Nice but needs maintenance

The house is very nice and just as pictured. However the amenities need maintenance or upgrading. The golf carts provided are very used and one barely had brakes. The bicycles also need work! The garage door is very close to breaking and we were thankful it didn’t while we stayed. The grill also needs to be replaced. Overall we had a nice stay and it is in good proximity to beaches and all Destin has to offer!

Everything was great except the beds

Everything was as it should be at the house. It was very nice and clean. Our only complaint were the mattresses in each bedroom. The mattress in the downstairs master was too firm for us and it slanted where your feet were a little higher than your head. Also, the left side of the mattress appeared to be quite worn as is slept much lower than the right side; almost like in a hole. I don't know the specifics of the other two beds in the other two bedrooms - I was just told they were not comfortable.

Destin 2023

The house was great. Plenty of room for the family of 13. We really enjoyed our stay. Only negative thing about the house was the upstairs was alot warmer while down stair was cooler. Made sleeping a little uncomfortable. Loved having the golf carts to use, but the brakes were not the greatest, big safety concern. Golf carts made it easy and convenient to get to the ocean/public access but limited parking and you shared parking with the restaurant. I definitely would not walk to the beach. That would be to far. The destiny east pool was big but the water was pretty warm. Felt like you were in a hot tub. Usually you swim to cool off because its so hot outside. Same for the pool at the house.

Great location

This property is located close to beach, great restaurants and close to all shopping and activities. House needs some TLC. Back door by outdoor pool was broken, sofas and mattresses need replacing, went to use outdoor grill and found there was no propane for the grill. Otherwise this property has everything. I would definitely recommend it.

Spring Break Getaway

This is our 2nd time staying at this location for a good reason. It is a great location and is a perfect size for out 3 families (6 adults, and 6 kids). We love the enclosed pool area at the house as well as access to the playground, pool, and courts at the club house which our kids love. House is beautiful; however it is shows a little wear and tear a could use a little TLC on the flooring, doors and pool. With that said we love this place and would recommend.

Pretty Home

Home is pretty and in a great neighborhood. Needs a bigger refrigerator that doesn’t freeze your expensive food ingredients and pool lights that function. Otherwise, a great home away from home! We enjoyed our stay.

Summer Vacation

Enjoy the open concept from the kitchen living room and dinning. Also we can see the kiddos from the kitchen swimming. Rooms were big enough including the restrooms. The bunk beds were awesome for the kiddos. The beach was not even far from our rental house. Overall we had so much fun and comfortable with this house rental.

Amazing Vacation Home

This home was perfect for our group of 6 adults and 6 kids. Pool area was great and kids loved riding on the golf carts to the beach and to the park right down the road. Property manager was very response to the few questions we had when checking in. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home!

The house is very large and beautiful! My daughter, son-in-law, and three grandchildren and I spent a wonderful week at the goldfinch. The location is great and I love that it’s a gated area, safer for the kids to ride bikes and play. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby and some that you can even walk to. The beach is just out the back gate and beautiful. The property managers are very accessible to answer any of our questions. The clubhouse with its amenities and playground were a big hit with the kids. We made many memories and are planning to go back next year.
