Palms Of Destin
We really enjoyed our time at the palms of Destin, the only small note is there was a weird smell in the hallways but it was no big deal, we had a great time!

We liked the location and pool. The check in and check out process was very easy. We appreciated having a washer and dryer. Lots of towels which was great. The condo definitely needs some attention. The carpet was old and stained - which made the whole place feel unclean. The furniture had a very used smell to it. The master bed was so uncomfortable and really needs to be replaced. You could hear lots of traffic noise throughout the night. There was a hole around one of the outlets which seemed unsafe. The tub didn’t drain properly. The sheets were clean but there were enough pillow cases or comforters for the beds. The comforters they did have didn’t seem laundered so we had to wash those. We didn’t have any extra trash bags. The only pan they had was a tiny omelet pan which made cooking tough. They did have a big pot. The patio overlooks a Dollar Tree parking lot with the beach in the distance. The patio really needs a scrub to remove dirt buildup. I sent an email to see how I could leave this feedback to Vacasa but never heard back.

Loved the kitchen and washer dryer. Pool was great. Everything else was quiet. Comfortable.

Great Location beautiful pool but outdated
This resort is very friendly staff location is close to everything by car. Delicious restaurant across the street The Back Porch. The pool/hot tub is amazing. The balcony and large windows tv with cable in every room large kitchen. The only cons 1st day we arrived the hallway was humid and wreaked of vomit. After day 2 the smell was gone and had air flow. The main road has a lot of construction and lane closures it wasn’t to bad but it was during slower time. There is a shuttle which will take you to beach and boardwalk. Bring your bike they have area you can store them. The decor was very basic somewhat outdated bed is on firmer side. Very minimal basic amenities in bathroom bring your own. Did have lots of dishes and cooking pans silverware appliances. Only odd thing was it says to be out by 11:00am we were packing hotel caddy walking out of Congo by 10:40am and there was a family with baby and another lady that was getting ready to go in I was confused since it said cleaning crew was come behind us and check in is 4pm it was a little awkward and they didn’t really speak to us. I think might possibly be the owner but honestly I have no clue. Overall we loved location and the resort the condo is great for 2 couples or a small family or just a couple.

Checking in, Pool, Parking, Security, accessing building and check out were all very convenient and accomodating. Property and unit 2612 in great condition! Everything worked. Lots of amenities. Couch, master bed and bedding could use updating and carpets shampooed

Totally worth it
The check in process was the only hiccup. The information in the confirmation email was incorrect so checking in after hours was difficult. But the gate security guard came in and helped us out. After that everything was great. We’ll stay here again when traveling to Destin, Florida.
