This was the most gorgeous house I have stayed in. It was very neat and clean, comfy beds, awesome game room and perfect location. The host responded back very promptly with questions that I had. I have no complaints about this place! We will definitely be back again.

Great multi generational retreat!!

We especially loved the proximity to the beach, the clubhouse, and lots of activities. The game room was a hit with the kids. Plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy the week.Bring your own beach towel and chairs, or rent at the beach.

We had a wonderful time at this beach house in Destin. The home was clean, spacious, and well-stocked with everything we needed. The location was ideal being just a short walk to the beach and close to restaurants and shops.The hosts were easy to communicate with and made the whole process smooth from start to finish. We especially enjoyed the balcony and the peaceful evenings. Overall, a great stay and we’d definitely come back.

Wonderful time! The teens were in the carriage house and the adjoining game room the entire time, giving everyone their own space to enjoy vacation. We used both pools. The one between the house and the beach was like a private pool. We could stop off on the way back from the beach and just a few more feet back to the house - no one was ever there. Great communication from the host.

Great House at a Great Location

The house was perfect for our large family get together. Plenty of room for 11 adults and 7 kids. I really liked that the house was equal distance from the beach and the pool. It allowed for my family to enjoy both places equally. The golf cart and bikes were a great addition.

What a wonderful stay in Destin

Our entire family absolutely loved our vacation to Destin this summer and aside from the beautiful beaches and pristine gulf waters, a huge reason was this rental. Some of the highlights are .. - IT IS TREMENDOUSLY SPACIOUS for a large family. - Wonderful bedrooms and even more important, great living room and kitchen for the family to gather and enjoy time together. - The game room was great for the kids (and even the adults). - kitchen was extremely well equipped with everything we needed for the week - Golf cart was extremely handy to bring family back and forth to the beach (along with supplies) each day. - Communication with management was very helpful as well. Anytime we had an issue (needing new propane tanks) or a question they were quick to respond and get things resolved. Even on 4th of July. We would fully recommend a vacation stay at this home

Great location

I booked this property due to my daughter getting married on the beach. The property is beautiful and in a great location. It has great amenities with plenty of extras. I had 12-13 people with me and there was plenty of space and rooms for all us. Follow all HOA rules as instructed by owner because you will get a ticket if any rules are broken. The guests and I agree that all the bed mattresses are extremely FIRM with no cushion, but to each your own. Reasons why I didn’t give it 5 stars: 1) we spent 5 nights and four of those nights the upstairs had no AC- or the temperature upstairs was 77 and above- in July. Now the AC company came 2 different days and the manager did her best to get the AC fixed, but it was absolutely HOT. Some guests had to move downstairs or sleep on downstairs couch to get cool during the night. Getting ready for a wedding in the heat was no fun and coming home from a hot day to a hot room was no fun either. I understand that things like this happen and out of your control but it was still unpleasantly hot. 2) several times I messaged the owner a question and many times I got no reply. Some of the questions I figured out myself but others well I still have no replies. Overall this was a great property and I would highly recommend.

Large family vacation

This property is spacious and in a great location with easy access to beach and 2 pools. Plenty of great local restaurants! Golf cart and bikes are included which was great! A little disappointed with sleeping arrangements in rooms with bunks. Bunk beds make a lot of noise! (Squeeking when kids move). The refrigerator door lacked a strong seal and we often found the door open upon our return home. Furniture at dining table needs cleaned! Regardless, we had a wonderful time here and would highly recommend this house/neighborhood!

Great family vacation

There were 18 of us and the house was big enough we all had our space. I loved that three of the bedrooms had king beds and bunks. And the carriage house was nice for this Grandma and Grandpa to have their own space. The beach was so close and the bikes were great for the teenagers and the golf cart was great for taking the littles to the beach. Since we had double red flags two days it was really nice to have the pool and courts to use.

Perfect for our big family!

We booked sugar Shack for our extended family to celebrate a big anniversary. The layout was perfect. Enough seating for everyone at the table and in the living room. The game room was perfect for the older kids. The small stash of beach items was useful and we added to it. We would absolutely stay there again.

Wonderful Week!

We had a fabulous time at the sugar shack! Loved the cute bag and everything was just perfect for our family and a couple of friends to get away before school started. It was super hot at the beach, but we were able to sit close to the water and the breeze kept us comfortable. The house is really pretty decorated in nice colors. The kids loved the golf cart and the bikes and the adults loves it. There was a separate playroom to send them to.

Great Girls Trip

Enjoyed some fabulous time in Destin with high school friends. We ate out at so many wonderful restaurants, took a trip to Crab Island and enjoyed the beautiful white sandy beaches. House was adorably decorated and had everything we needed. Seven ladies each had their own rooms and we never even made it to the game room. Would stay again!

Great stay in Destin

The house was perfect for our family with many young infants, toddlers and children. We were close to the beach, pool and tennis courts. Many restaurants were close by for evening take out too. We loved that so many bedrooms had king beds for the adults along with the bunk beds where needed. Amy was quick to respond when we had questions. Overall a great time in Destin!

House was nice, big with a lot of space. Liked the game room for the kids. Nice decor, needs a deep cleaning. Needs more kitchen towels. Nice walk to beach and pool. Pool was very warm, needs a cooling system. Ocean was beautiful.

Good for a large family or multiple families.

Destiny East was a nice gated community. There were several amenities, our favorite being the pickleball courts. There is also a large pool with plenty of seating, it never felt crowded. Having the golf cart to get to and from the beach and pool area was fabulous! For the house specifically we loved the large living and dining room. There was plenty of room for all of us. All of the bedrooms were large and had plenty of closet/storage space for our things. The mattresses were not the most comfortable in a couple of the rooms. When you laid down you rolled to the middle of the bed. The bathrooms in 2 of the upstairs bedrooms were nice size, the hall bathroom though was pretty small for 2 bedrooms to share. One area that we feel could definitely be improved in is cleanliness. The rugs in the bathrooms and kitchen all looked dirty and like they had not been washed. The silverware and other drawers could use a good cleaning as well. We left both of these suggestions on the board in the laundry room. The game room was great for our group! It was one of the main things that caught my eye when I booked the house and it did not disappoint. The property manager was FABULOUS to work with!! We had 2-3 issues of things needing fixed while there and she was always quick to respond and help us out. Just FYI regarding beach access… we could never find a private beach area for East and had to use the public access which filled up with tents quickly on front!

Family time

There are numerous positive aspects to this property. Being a larger home, that allows larger groups, can be a challenge to maintain properly First impression at door was lacking. Door frame is extremely dirty, quick coat of paint would work wonders. Clean throw rugs in bathrooms and doorway/kitchen area would be very beneficial. We had to deal with numerous maintenance issues - electrical outlets upstairs bathrooms, tire on golf cart, loss of electricity in carriage house. The management was always quick to respond to our issues. People that came to address these issues were very professional and friendly. In conversations with them it was evident by what they stated that these weren’t new issues (golf cart tire and electricity on upstairs bathrooms) Our family we’re very comfortable, number of bathrooms/bedrooms really met our needs. Definitely overkill on fines pertaining to guidelines of HOA. We haven’t even moved our things into the house and someone came by and warned us about a $100 fine pertaining to a trash can left at street. We had nothing to do with it!! Golf cart and bikes are a wonderful amenity

Perfect Getaway for Large Group

This house accommodated our large group perfectly!! Spacious, clean and convenient location! We loved the golf cart, bikes and game room too! Communication with management was easy and they provided quick responses. Highly recommend this place!

The Jones 18

A time for my wife & I to host our 5 children, their spouses and our grandchildren. The game room, community pool, tennis courts and 6 passenger golf cart were very useful. Everything about our stay was exceptional. Wonderful 7 days with just family. Great food, rest and down time on Destin’s beautiful beaches.
