Excellent stay-great location

Our family consisting of myself, my husband, 18, 16,13,and 10 year old kids stayed a week here. Condo was just as appeared. Very clean. The only bad things I have to say are that the pool and jacuzzi were not heated. Also the floors were quite thin and you could hear what the people above you were doing. We had someone knock on our door to have us turn down the music. However, it wasn’t us! It was the floor above us! Very great location. We would gladly stay there again.

Great location!

This condo is located in a great spot, and overall the accommodation is in good condition. The downside is that the furniture is worn and a little dingy and the floor rugs were stained and well worn in the bathrooms. The Floor system is a little bouncy and you can hear the neighbor upstairs walking. Our neighbor upstairs seems to never go to sleep. lastly, the check out time is a bit early at 10 AM when a lot of the rentals on the island check out at 11 AM. This rental served our purpose for the week, but we will opt not to return.

Simply amazing condo at the beach!

A small group of girlfriends rented this condo for the week & the condo looks exactly like, if not even better, than the pictures!! I've stayed in many condos in this area, and this was by far my favorite!! The remodel was done to the 9's and thought of everything! The kitchen is well stocked, the patio is SO relaxing w/great patio furniture. The view off the patio & master bdrm of the water are amazing! The chair service is always a nice bonus, as they are quite expensive to rent for the week. The property was definitely cleaned professionally, but could use a deep clean on baseboards, mirrors, etc - it's not bad, but mentionable. Overall clean though & I'd definitely enjoy staying here again. Outside shower was broken most of the week on our side & required going to the only working one at the other end of the bldg. The property mgmt let us know the unit was available for early check-in, which was great, but we didnt land until quite late. They do require you to walk down to their office to sign more paperwork to check-in within a day, and it's a good little walk especially in the humidity! We didnt have a car, & very late arrivals, so it wasnt convenient at all to have to do this, after signing SO much paperwork online in advance. They did eventually agree to bring the paperwork down to me which was great! Most detailed contract & process of any condo ever rented, but the unit is worth the extra work!! Highly recommend overall!!

Vacation

Great property and unit !!! Everything was as advertised , Beach was close with great access , and not crowded at all . We have been going every summer for 15 years and have stayed at a number of different properties. Crystal Dunes is our favorite so far !! Will be there again In a year !!!

Amazing condo!

This was our second time visiting Destin FL and loved every bit of it. Last year we stayed at one of the houses near by but disliked walking far off the condo properties to have a space to sit ( turns out you can sit in front of the condo beach chairs since it’s public, didn’t know that the first time we came) anywho check in was pretty easy, the rooms were very clean and had all the kitchen equipment that one needs. Bathrooms plenty of towels. Great great views as we were having breakfast we could just see the ocean! The first day we were at the beach our room chairs were right next to the public access where it gets pretty crowded which i did not like since people were sitting right in front of us and blocking the space. I had asked the guys who put out the chairs if i could move down and unfortunately we were unable to since the chairs were already assigned( apparently you also have to check in with them in order to have your complementary chairs out) BUT the next day the gentleman moved our chairs a little more towards the center which we really appreciated it!! Our kids were able to enjoy making sand castles and we weren’t crowded by the public area. The only negative i have is every time we would be at the pool there were unattended teenagers being loud and playing football which was fine until they would miss the ball and splash us in our faces, you would think they would have the decency to stop but continued to do it so at that point we just went back to our room.

Great location but condo needs work

Very soft master bed made for tough nights, poorly equipped kitchen with a good blender and coffee maker, plugged sinks in baths, loose kitchen faucet, and poor WiFi but great location, friendly staff

Not much better than a hotel

I was extremely disappointed. The listing said newly renovated but if it was renovated, they forgot 2 major sell points. The sliding door to go onto the balcony (which is why you get a place on the water) was almost impossible to open for most of us. Those of us strong enough (other than my husband) could only get it open wide enough to squeeze through. This caused us not to even use it and was a big disappointment. Also, there was a hole in the glass on the corner, so the wind made a noise as it blew in. The master bath had a very large shower which was nice but the shower head didn't have any water pressure. You could tell some of the holes were not open because of the calcium build up. The sliding door and shower head should have been replaced if this was truly renovated. Overall, I would not stay again.

Nice Property, disorganized property managers

Pros: This property was very lovely and clean. It also had a nice location. Beds were comfortable and the balcony is great - shaded all day. Cons: Property management is very disorganized. Upon our arrival, we were given the incorrect gate code and couldn't access the parking lot. We didn't get access to the room until 15 minutes after the check in time. A day before our departure we were locked out of the room because management entered our check out date incorrectly. On our actual check out date, the door code stopped working at 7:00am, but our check out wasn't until 10:00am. As this is not a cheap room, we expected things to work without any snags. The combinations of all these small items were frustrating and management offered no apologies for the inconvenience.
