Best Beach House Yet

My wife and I have stayed at several beach rentals across the southeast over the last 5 years. Everyone knows that photos can be deceiving and some times descriptions are embellished. That was NOT the case at this property. The home is well designed, nicely decorated and setup well for families. You can tell a lot of thought was put into the rental and making things most convenient for your beach trip. There were plenty of table settings, seating, towels, kitchen utensils and plenty of beach wagons, chairs, coolers and umbrellas. The pool and hot tub were also plenty large for me, my wife and our 3 kids. The beach was a short easy walk. If we go back to Destin we won't bother looking at other places, we will stay here.

Spring Break

We stayed here as a family of five over spring break, and it was absolutely perfect for us. The home was clean, comfortable, and offered plenty of space for everyone. The backyard was a great bonus—ideal for relaxing after the beach or enjoying quiet evenings together. The location was excellent, close to all the amenities we needed. The host was responsive and communicated with us throughout our stay as needed. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Family Oasis

We booked this trip last minute, and we were so pleased with this house. Not far from the beach, but plenty to do at the house if you are wanting to stay in for a day with the family. The backyard pool setting is just what it looks like in the pictures. Plenty of room in the house, with a very comfortable feel all around. We still talk about this trip many months later

Family Vacation

The owners were incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. The house was exactly what we were looking for—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained—which really made our trip special. After a day at the beach, the pool was a perfect place to unwind and relax. The location was ideal, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend staying here! We had such a great stay, we are also considering checking out another of their locations!

Amazing

The house was amazing! The pool and hot tub was a definite plus to come home to everyday. The access to the beach and local shopping and dining was very easy and accessible. We rented a golf cart for our stay which I would recommend for coming and going to beach especially with a large party. The host were very responsive to all inquiries and checked in on us daily. I will definetly be staying here again for sure.

Close to the beach and private

I was really happy with the house, pool, hot tub and fire pit. I wanted to have a private place close to the beach and this was perfect. We didn’t want to have to deal with the crowd at the pool and hot tub at a condo so we booked this awesome house. Nothing like having a quiet pool and hot tub to come back to after leaving the beach. We even did s’mores one night. The home owners supplied everything so why not. Will be coming back in the future

Pool and Hot Tub Oasis

The home was wonderful. The weather was not very cooperative for hanging at the beach, but that didn’t effect our stay at all. The kids played in the pool/hot tub the entire time. The home was well stocked with the things that matter (cookware, seasonings, pool/beach towels, coffee, etc..). It is set up great for children. The host communicates clearly, and was prompt to respond to questions. We had no issues with this property. The location is excellent! We will be back.

Beautiful Family-Friendly Beach Spot!

We selected this property as it had all the amenities we wanted, and the reviews were awesome. We were thrilled to find that our experience met and exceeded our expectation. We stayed for 5 nights with two separate families - total of 8 people. The heated pool and hot tub were wonderful! The house was clean and stocked with everything we could need from towels, beach towels, beach "gear" and more. Also, we had just a few small tweaks on night one and found the hosts to be extremely responsive. They immediately sent the property manager over who corrected all tweaks. She was so kind and gave us some great insights to the area. Overall, this was our best VRBO experience, and we highly recommend to any other travelers - especially families.

Amazing

We spent a week at the Backyard Oasis. It was the best trip ever! The house is amazing! The hosts provide everything you need to feel at home for your vacation. The beds were super comfy! Everything was top of the line. The pool, hot tub and fire pit were top notch. We really enjoyed the corn hole and huge connect 4 board. The neighborhood was safe and friendly. Short walk to the beach. If you are looking for a place to stay, look no further! Hosts Dave and Shannon were responsive and great to work with. Thanks so much for allowing us to have a wonderful time.

Perfect family rental!

The house was clean, well stocked and beautiful! It fit our family of 7, kids’ friends, and my in-laws perfectly! Dave and Shannon were responsive and made the check in/out process quick and easy, and were even generous enough to send the family Crumble cookies! The pool and hot tub were a huge hit, as were all the included pool toys/inflatables & the house was a quick 5 minute walk to the crystal clear waters and white sandy beaches! We definitely will be back to rent the “Backyard Oasis” again!

Great stay at The Escapes

We just had a fantastic stay at The Escapes, Destin FL. The house is charming. Fantastic upkeep and very clean. Back yard and pool area were very fun for adults and kids. Property manager was very responsive.

Great beach getaway

The house and amenities are exactly as described. A beautiful home with lots of well thought out extras for all ages and needs. The host checks-in to make sure all is well, and quickly answers questions. The house has a great pool and is a short walk to the beach. It’s a quick drive to stores and attractions/activities, but in a quiet neighborhood. I highly recommend this house and host!

Beyond Expectations!!!

This property was all it advertised to be and then some. This home was extremely clean and well kept. Check-in was easy. The manager stayed in contact to make sure everything was good. If we had any questions, they were answered within five minutes. They were very responsive to any questions we had. We had nine people in our party and we all slept very comfortably with room to spare. The only thing I had to contact them about, where are the beanbags for the corn hole game and they had some delivered within one hour. They also had a little goodie box delivered our first night, which was extremely nice and unexpected. Overall, our stay was wonderful. We were close to the beach. We had everything we needed at the house. To be honest we could have left half of what we brought at home, because everything we needed was there and if it wasn’t, they would have it delivered quickly. We will DEFINITELY stay at this home anytime we visit Destin. Thanks for ALL YOUR GREAT HOSPITALITY….. GREAT VACATION SPOT FOR FAMILY! 10/10

Destin vacation home

This property was the best VRBO property I have ever stayed in. Everything about the home is as advertised, and more. It is highly evident that the host, David, is invested in his customers' experience. He was highly responsive and helpful. The home is well-maintained, very clean, furniture was comfortable, kitchen very wellzstocked, and the backyard is truly an oasis. The neighborhood is lovely, with close proximity to shopping, bars, and restaurants. The beach is a short walk, although we went around noon and were able to find a good parking spot. Can't recommend this property enough! Thank you for a great stay!

Wonderful experience

From booking to check out it was very smooth. They really do have everything from wagons, chairs, umbrellas for the beach to pool toys and towels. Walking distance to the beach and an ice cream shop it was really great. We used door dash too for a great home cooked meal. Highly recommend. Thank you.
