We had a great vacation in 1601. The views from the balcony were amazing sunrise to sunset! If we needed a break from the sun, the living room offered the same spectacular views through the large, open windows.
The two bedrooms were very spacious with king sized beds and room to move, closets with extra pillows and bedding, and attached bathrooms. The bathrooms were both large and clean. The walk-in showers were great! The only con was the master bath faucet handle kept falling off, but minor inconvenience that I’m sure will be remedied.
The kitchen was fully stocked with everything that we needed- pans, pots, glasses, silverware, coffee pot and keurig. Our children were old enough to handle the glassware, but a few plastic cups would have been nice for them or to take more comfortably out to the balcony.
We utilized the two beach chairs, two bag chairs, and coolers available to us every day at the beach. It was such a convenience!
The Pelican resort had some great amenities including two heated pools and two hot tubs. Both were very clean. The other pool looked nice, but we were there in the off season, so we didn’t use it. The walk to the beach is short and sweet. The water is breathtaking- very clear and shallow at that location.
Overall, would highly recommend!
