Late summer vacay

Everything was excellent as it was the previous year. Only negative was there was only one working elevator that intermittently didn't work either. The place was fairly busy so people were pretty disgruntled about it. Other than that, perfect!

Nice Property

Close beach access with chairs and umbrella, nice pools and hot tub, quiet rooms, beautiful views overlooking the ocean from balcony, board games in our room, pickle ball, convenient parking, Friday night movie at the pool. I would stay at the Islander again!

Great family vacation spot

We enjoyed our stay in the nicely decorated condo, just a short walk from the beach. We had plenty of room for our family of 4. Having 2 bathrooms was definitely a plus. Our view was of the beach and the boats coming into the harbor. I would love to stay again soon!

Atmosphere !

The condo was perfectly clean and quiet, yet the atmosphere of the entire place was fun and exciting. Never a time when families weren't laughing and playing at the pools or on the beach. Probably the best evening vibes at any place we've stayed. We'll be back 100%.

Vacation 2022

We stayed at this property June 4 - June 9 2022. The condo was decorated nicely. There was plenty of room for me, my husband, my mother in law, and my two year old daughter. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed in the cleanliness of the condo. When we arrived, my daughter walked around the condo barefoot. Her feet were soo dirty within 30 minutes. It was as if the floor hadn’t been cleaned at all. When I bathed her I had to clean black hairs out of the bathtub and drain. With the cleaning fee included in the price of the booking, I don’t think you should have to clean upon arrival. The location is great. The view from the condo was great. We enjoyed the beach and pool area.

Nice location

We were pleased with the room and location. However, tried to contact the owner several times prior to trip. They never responded. Also, thought I was paying through VRBO. Come to find out, I couldn’t pay that way. I had to call and pay the property directly. None of this is mentioned in the listing in VRBO.

Wonderful

10/10 recommend. We had so much fun and the property is beautiful. It was really close to the beach so going in for lunch was easy. We love the convenience of having a full kitchen but it was also just a short drive from restaurants. We can’t wait to come back!

Nice stay at a nice price.

Highlights: beach was beautiful and chair service was a plus. Our unit was quiet - no noise from neighboring units. Cleanliness was just okay but I’m a stickler about that. Both pools were great. BBQ area was outstanding - clean and plentiful grills located under large shelter. Maintenance guy was incredibly nice and helpful. Lowlights: Room was not ready at 3:00 but it was noted in rental agreement this might be the case. Seems if they’re willing to charge you $25 per hr for an early check-in, they’d be willing to refund your money for a late check-in due to circumstances beyond your control. They did say the cleaning crew was short staffed and given the current COVID-19 circumstances, I’m willing to overlook but still felt it was worth mentioning. The guy working at the linen exchange wasn’t at all friendly. Was borderline rude on the two occasions we used the service. As the title of the review suggests, overall it was a nice stay at a nice price.

Would definitely return

Just got back from 5 days in the rental. Overall, I give the rental high marks. The inside of the condo is super cute - we loved the design. The kitchen was well stocked with the essentials for cooking and we ended up cooking almost all our meals. The view is incredible. In the early morning (from 600 - 6:30am) you can watch the boats line up from the harbor. The balcony was also great for sunsets. Unit 618 is at the far end of the building which was great for us because we didn't have the noise from the pools. It's also an easy walk to the beach. There was beach construction last week (which we were not notified about prior to our stay) and that made the walk to the beach longer. But having the beach chairs and umbrella available is a huge bonus. I gave the unit 3 stars for cleanliness but I am very picky. The main surfaces and linens were all fine but the unit could do with a deeper clean. The bathroom mirror ledge was covered with dust and the floors were very clearly not mopped around the door edges. But if you are on the fence, I would recommend renting this unit. I hope that I will be back in the future!
