Great House. Beach Access is Bad.
The house was great. The neighborhood was quiet and well maintained. The pool was awesome and had plenty of room for all of the people there. The complaint is the beach access. We went in knowing that the beach was a walk away or a short shuttle ride. Thats fine. No problem. But the shuttle drops you off to the public access portion of the beach that is 100 ft wide. Thats all. It is private beach access to the left and to the right and they are roped off. So you have hundreds of people trying to fit it a very tight area. It is very disappointing. Luckily talked to a family that told us about the public beach at the Crab Trap which has a decent amount of room. It was a 3-5 minute drive in the car since the neighborhood shuttle only stops in one spot. It has a decent amount of parking as long as you get there before 930. After that, its packed. Overall, the house was great and for my kids, the pool helped offset the beach access the first couple of days before we found the better spot. I know there isn't anything the owner can do about the public vs private beach access but communication in the listing would have been appreciated. And if the shuttle would have the option to drop off at a bigger beach access since there are no golf carts allow, that would be a lot better.
