We had the best experience! The check in was super easy and the condo is in the best location, close to the pool, gym and spa! We spent time on the boardwalk. We could walk to all the restaurants and shop and didn’t have to drive anywhere! We will be back in the future!!

Overall the trip and stay were great, live the location. The convenience of having a great place, crab island, and the boardwalk right there was the cherry on top!!! Love it and will definitely be back!!!

A Real Joy!

This property was very nice with an excellent location! We had 2 minor issues: one during checkin. They didn’t have my information at the front desk and had to contact property manager 3 times. The other was that the room keys didn’t work and we exchanged the keys 4 times. It ended up being that the batteries needed to be changed in the electronic lock. Other than that, great property and experience. I would definitely tent again and recommend to others.

Needs a lot of maintenance

Unit needs maintenance. 2 spots in bathroom has what looks like black mold. Both look like it’s been an ongoing problem and was never fixed just painted over with paint that didn’t match. Vent over toilet leaks water down on top of the toilet even when someone is going to the bathroom. Very disgusting! Plumbing makes crazy lout and high pitched noises when any water is run. Both showers leak bad when taking a shower, leaving a big little of water on the tile. Something else made a vibrating noise at random times both day and night. Woke us in the middle of the night several times. No way we would stay again.

Family weekend

We enjoyed the beautiful condo and excellent location for a short family weekend. Comfortable beds. Excellent gym facility and spa just down the hall. Super easy access for a family with kiddos.

Came down for first time with spouse to experience the property , didn’t realize how much there was to do there lived it . Only thing is things didn’t stay open very late . There is no smoking area unless you leave the property, we suggest a cigar lounge.

Location is good

The location is good with lots to do but both showers leak, with the guest bathroom shower leaking the worst. It leaks into the spare bedroom and becomes a safety hazard due to the unit being all tiled. Our toddler ran through that room and slipped and fell and thats how we noticed the leak to begin with. Maintenance told us that they couldn't fix the problem and provided us with extra towels. The master bath shower is doing the same thing but just not as bad as the spare yet. From what we were told is that its a tile piece that is starting to sink down which causes the water to escape. None of the phone lines worked, which we were told was an IT issue but that was not fixed during our stay, the lock to the patio in the guest bedroom does not lock, it just keeps turning. So if you have a toddler like we do, you may need to block off that door so your toddler doesn't get out to the balcony unsupervised. We also lost power in 3 rooms in the middle of the night and had to go downstairs to ask for someone to come up because again, the phone lines didn't work from the unit and calling from your cell only gets you to a voicemail. It is unfortunate to pay so much to stay somewhere and have so many issues. No, we were not given a discount or anything in return or offered anything like that. I would just make sure these issues have been addressed prior to booking.

Perfect

We booked to attend my son's wedding in Destin,Fl. This condo was at the venue and was perfect. Great views of pool and ocean and great location to all activities. The communication, nice personal touches, welcome card were so appreciated. Would love to book the same condo through Realjoy again! Thank you for everything!

Family Getaway

My daughter, granddaughter, and I needed a quick respite from a hectic time back home. Emerald Grande was perfect. Weather was fantastic, property is beautiful and well cared for, and condo was nicely furnished. The amenities were well worth the stay, even in December. The off season in Destin is great.

Fantastic Experience

The location is absolutely perfect for family or friends trips. Right on the boardwalk so it's easy to walk everywhere. Grocery store located close by as well. The pool is fantastic and the food prices are very reasonable. The staff in all positions are helpful and friendly. The room was well maintained, clean, and sufficiently supplied. It was an amazing experience all around and I'm looking forward to my next trip.

Confusing

The entire process of renting this condo was wonderful. The Vrbo group did everything right. Once checked in started the confusion. It seemed they were too busy to tell me where to park and how to get to my condo. Fortunately i ran into a maintenance guy in the parking garage that helped us with everything. Next time ill just call maintenance. Thanks Vrbo for a pretty good experience.
