We decided to stay at this unit for our first trip to destin. I took my three boys who are 13 and 18 and my 80 year old parents. The unit was very nice and very well decorated. Was so glad to have a condo because we were able to do laundry and cook breakfast every morning . Very nice view of the pool area and able to see the harbor from the balcony. We also loved the fact that the HarborWalk was right there for food options and water sport options. Staff at the property was very friendly and helpful. Kids enjoy the pool. Would definitely stay here again on a return trip.

Girl's Getaway

Three of us came down to Destin for a quick getaway. The condo was perfect location. We will definitely stay there again. This was our second time to stay on Harbor Walk. So convenient from there to walk and eat and shop.

Convenient and family friendly

We loved the property and location! Besides a trip to the grocery store to stock the kitchen we didn't need to get in car. The pool was busy but not packed, the shuttle to the beach was very easy to use and the beach staff very helpful. The harborwalk had endless options for dining, shopping and entertainment. There was construction at the hotel while we were there which woke us up each morning before 8am so that wasn't ideal, but it got us moving to enjoy the beautiful day. The condo itself was very nice, definitely had some signs of wear and tear, but clean and sufficient.

Great stay, convenient to all the action!

Condo was nice and clean, furniture not most comfortable but served the purpose. Updates to matresses and couch would be huge improvement. Property is the BEST location!!! Highy recommended

The spot was exactly as advertised. Great balcony with an amazing pool view. The condo was roomy and has everything you need. But it was the location that really sealed the deal. So many things close by. Destin traffic can be heavy so having so many things walkable was a huge plus!

Summer vacation

Terrible just terrible. Do not rent this unit! The dryer was inoperable and looked very old and rusty. It needed to be replaced twenty years ago. We had no dryer for the duration of our stay. It was such an inconvenience and when we brought it to their attention they suggested that we go to a laundromat. Excuse me! Who wants to spent time in a laundromat while on vacation. Not to mention the bedding was very thin and we had no extra blankets anywhere. On another note the air conditioning worked like a charm. VRBO was well aware of the situation and sent us an E-mail the day we arrived and apologized, but it was never replaced or fixed. It was such an inconvenience and I will never rent this unit ever!

First Timers

Perfect location! Condos are clean and building is solid. Close to all the action but very quiet for resting. Our particular unit could have used some plumbing maintenance but we figure it’s probably on a “to do” list. We are in the plumbing/mechanical field, so no star deduction. We will be back with more friends and family for sure!

Issues that need addressed

The unit needs a new washer and dryer and a new oven/ stove ! Also the unit needs more kitchen towels but the overall stay was great ! The room wasn’t as clean as it should be there was lots of dust but we enjoyed our stay and will def stay at the emerald grand in the future

Fun girls trip

We had a fun trip - the pool got a little wild from wild loud bachelor parties and drunk folks (one threw up right by the pool and was never kicked out) unregulated so I don’t think I’d bring my kids to the pool if I came with them but overall was a great stay and very convenient with the beach shuttle etc. the cafe got busy in the mornings and overpriced being the only option but overall happy with our stay!

Right Place, Right Time

The family needed some time away at the beach. This was available and was in the perfect location for our trip. The property was right there in the mix for the beach and other water sports as well as restaurants and other entertainment. We ended up staying mostly around the property and walked everywhere, so we only had to use the Tesla Destination charger to top off for the trip home.

Amazing place!

We loved this place! We booked it last minute as our original rental was a dump. The location was fabulous. My only complaint (if you call it that) is they called my husband and grilled us on how many people were staying there. We rented a 3 bed room for myself, my wife, and my daughter. Obviously we didn’t need that much space but we cared more about the location than the price. They drilled us with a million questions about why we rented such a big place for only 3 people. Then made us come down to the front desk and sign a paper about it. Not sure why they cared so much if we were paying the nightly rate.
