What a great property! Stocked kitchen, clean house, plenty of linens and an awesome balcony with a great breeze. Pool is about 2 minutes away. The beach is a 15 minute walk. Great location. Would definitely recommend this property.

Would stay again!

Had a family of 8 with ages from 7 to 70 plus 2 large dogs. Was a great fit for everyone, short walk to the beach and amazing pool. Would definitely stay again!

Destin Spring Break

Had a wonderful spring break in Destin with my family. Big Tuna was a lovely house. The pool was great and short walk to the beach. We ran out of gas for the grill and management was very responsive and replaced the tank the next day. I wish they had provided more dish soap and some of the pans in the kitchen need to be replaced. Otherwise everything was great

Amazing house

The house was called The Big Tuna. It was very clean. It was 10 mins walk to the beach. We didn’t get to swim at the lagoon, but it looked great. Looks like a lot of people enjoyed it just by driving by it. Easy instructions how to clean before leaving the house. We really enjoyed our 4 day stay. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful Big Tuna, Gorgeous and comfortable

Property is well kept and clean, everything was in order when we arrived. Came for a spring break week with our college kids, and it was great. Plenty for the college kids to do, with the beautiful heated pool, and the shuttle to the beach and back.No trouble getting ubers

Loved the big tuna

We loved the place. Just wish there would have been a few more supplies such as dishwasher and washing machine detergent. Also garbage bags. The one in the kitchen was not enough. Perhaps also another light in the living room area. One of the beach umbrellas was broken. However we did love the location and the pool.

Great accommodations in a great location

Our family of 5 really enjoyed our Big Tuna stay. The house is in good shape with no major wear and tear issues and plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen has plenty of pots, pans, bowls, utensils for all of your cooking needs. You will need to make sure to bring a beach bag and towels but there is a beach cart with plenty of beach toys and 3 chairs to use as well. The pool is really fantastic and we often split our time between the pool and beach. The location was great, close to restaurants, the beach, and attractions. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

While we enjoyed our stay, the house does need some special cleaning. We found stains on the futon and throw pillows. We also found dirty dishes (probably from the renter before) and ended up having to prewash all dishes or cups before using them. A plus was the very short walk to the pool which the kids really enjoyed. Would recommend this house.

Overall it was a great stay! Love the neighborhood and super close to the pool (which is the main reason we stay at Villages of Crystal Beach). The beach is walking distance and many entrances to the beach nearby.

No Hot Water! Big Tuna

We were without hot water for more than 48 hours. We were told to carry on with our day. It is very hard to carry on with our day when we couldn't shower. I'm still waiting for the Property Manager to call me back. I have left several messages.

Great Week!

We had a great stay at the Big Tuna. The pool is just steps away. We were bummed that the ocean seemed so far away - about a 1/2 mile walk but the shuttle was nice to have. The house was clean and comfortable.

THANKSGIVING STAY

As the location was a good spot, the house itself was not what I expected. I had crawling babies and within 20 minutes they were covered in black from the floors. The kitchen only had ONE kitchen mitt & that had a huge hole in it so of course while cooking, we burned our hand pretty bad. The AC didn’t work the whole time so the house was up to 79 degrees which isn’t idea either with kids and my parents. The management team responded quick but no resolution. I complained and asked for some type of refund and no response. We also were told check in couldn’t happen until 4 however, with kids we got their early and no one was at the property from 1-4? For paying such high dollar, we should of had a better experience. Very disappointment & will not be recommending for future.

Cozy, clean property

My firm held an off-site for our five attorneys here. We wanted a place to do some team-building and also enjoy the beach. There was lots of room to accommodate us all. The house was very clean and in a great location with regard to proximity to the pool/hot tub and walking to the beach. We were even able to use the primary television as a monitor to do some training together.

Great House!

We had a great stay at Big Tuna and would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Destin area. Clean, spacious house, not too far from the beach (the free trolley is a huge bonus!), nice pool. The only thing we wish had been clearer in the listing is the limited parking, but given the off season we were able to park our extra vehicle by the pool without issue. Will definitely consider this house for future trips to Destin.
