I want to be honest that we were very disappointed with our stay. Our family of five had planned this visit as a relaxing final stop at a beautiful resort after a very busy trip in Orlando, hoping it would be a peaceful way to unwind before flying back to the cold north.We booked our stay about a month in advance and were never informed that exterior renovations would be taking place on our side of the resort. As a result, both balconies in our suite were inaccessible, and the family-friendly hot tub located below was closed due to construction.The following morning, we were woken at 7:45am by loud drilling and pounding from the construction. We were shocked to see a worker accessed our balcony, used a leaf blower, and opened an unlocked door to look inside our suite. This was extremely unsettling, especially given that we were traveling with young children whom were all sitting in the living room and witnessed it.I did bring these concerns to the owner’s attention, and they did reimburse a portion of our stay, which I appreciated. However, due to the circumstances we likely would have picked a different location having known of this construction.
