The location is excellent, and the property is very clean and well-maintained. The neighborhood is nice and walkable, with easy access to many nearby spots, which we really enjoyed. The AC worked great, and the outdoor grill was a nice bonus. Linens and sheets were also very clean.The home has two full bathrooms, which worked for us, though for a family of four (two adults and two kids) getting ready at the same time, an additional half bath would make things even more convenient.The second-floor bathtub has a sliding glass door, which made getting in and out a bit tricky, especially when helping kids bathe.The street can be a little lively in the evening—around our kids’ bedtime (8:30 pm), we could still hear some neighbors outside—but it wasn’t a major issue.Overall, we had a great stay and really appreciated the location and cleanliness. Just a few small things to keep in mind for families with young kids.

Perfect location! House layout is perfect. Primary on main floor and 2 bedrooms upstairs. Pool and beach was not crowded like I had expected for Spring Break! Clean, organized, comfortable beds. Only wish the house had beach chairs for guests.

Great extended stay!

We stayed at the property for 2 weeks and had a great stay! We had an issue with the fire alarm overnight one of the first nights of our stay but they were prompt to come out and fix right away. The house was recently redone and the cleaning crew does a great job! The house was spotless when we walked in. The description does say that Miramar beach is a 5 min walk which isn’t the case. Miramar is a lot further. However you are right on Crystal Beach. There are two small public beach sections. And you can rent chairs and an umbrella from the private beach sections. We rented a tent, 2 chairs and a beach wagon from Emerald Coast premier Rentals and everything was great, reasonably priced and easy to work with. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely stay here again when we’re in the area!

Excellent location and great house!

This house was a great find! Perfect location, short walk to the beach and easy to work with owner/property manager. I loved enjoying the front porch, coffee in the morning, cocktails in the evenings! I’ve never stayed at a VRBO that didn’t have some spices or even a little olive oil or salt and pepper. I guess it’s a county ordinance law, so be sure to bring your own spices, oils, coffee filters. The house was excellent and I would definitely stay here again.

Everything was as described. Communication was prompt. House is very nice inside. There is a fenced small back yard for the dog that was good. Close to the beach. We would have expected full toiletries/trash bags etc for the 800/night price paid. But a very pleasant community and we had a nice stay in Destin!

Graduation Celebration 2024

Property very clean!!! Nice neighborhood with pool. The ocean was so clear and gentle that we didn’t use the pool but maybe twice. The house was very cute; my family loved it! Host was accommodating allowing us to enter the home a little early after a very long drive. Host also added another night on because we loved the area and house so much! Hope to visit again!!!

Couldn’t be better

Location is incredible! Very very close to the beach, you can easily come home if you forgot something! Nicest beach entrance. Camille’s is a 2 minute walk for delicious snacks and coffee. Also very walkable to Destin commons for everything else. Street is adorable, loved walking our dog around the block. Pool is 2 doors down and popular with the little ones. House is nicely updated and has a great layout. Front porch cool and private. Very very clean, easy booking and check in. Bright but not too hot from the sun beating in. Beds comfortable and quiet to sleep at night. Laundry convenient and air con works great. Bathrooms modern. Everything was fantastic! Perfect for us - 2 adults and 2 teens. Thanks for a great spring break!

This property is so conveniently located to the pool and the beach. There is a cute coffee shop at the corner, and a place to rent boogie boards & paddle boards. Checking in was a breeze. Definitely booking here again.

The house was SO CLEAN and BEAUTIFUL! It really felt like home. I never wanted to leave. We had such a great time. Very easy check-in and the manager texted me to see if we needed anything. She is a very sweet person. We will DEFINITELY stay here again!

Enjoyed our Stay

We really enjoyed our stay and the property was perfect for our family. There were a couple of maintenance issues and from what I understand there will be a remodel of the property soon. The location was perfect for beach access and the nice little café on the corner. The community pool was clean and always ready to have swimmers. We would stay in this property again.

Perfect location

We rented this location for our stay in Destin, we encountered a few issues that caused us to be moved which I am sure most are resolved at this point. We checked in early which was great but the ac was set on 78 and it did not move from 78- after unloading and unpacking it still didn’t move and after it was addressed it was determined that the unit was in need of replacement. Ultimately great house, great location, needs to be able to be locked from the inside. We did have our pup (smart border collie) and our other pup (super smart 2.5 year old toddler) with us, I do note I would not consider the location child friendly as there is no way to lock the door from the inside. So when ever the pup or the child wanted to exit they could simply use the lever handle to do so. We found our pup at the pool after leaving to go to the beach and thank goodness children and adults were there that attracted our super friendly smart pups attention and she stayed there with them, our trip would have been absolutely ruined had anything happened to her and I would still be living in Destin searching. Ultimately we were moved to a different location “upgraded” from one block to the beach and walkable to 8 blocks to the beach with no beach access. Also “upgraded” from a sleeps six to a sleeps sixteen three story house to chase our toddler up and down 4 flights of stairs- little did I know I should have brought 3 stair gates- luckily this house did lock from the inside. The trip was a $2500 dollar wash, we left early.

Great place!

This home was spacious! Clean! Great location! Close to beach! Great neighborhood! My only personal issue was -the furniture wasn’t very comfortable In master or living a suggestion would be add cushions on chairs for dining. Guest rooms upstairs were very comfortable! Great patios! Everything worked! Management even worked well and quickly with us when we had small light outage and needed a new shower head! I do recommend property and would return!

Needs a few upgrades...

The location is really nice and the little community pool was a great touch but overall we had a few issues with the property. We were not provided with trash bags or rags to clean the kitchen. I understand if you don't provide everything for the kitchen but no trash bags seems odd to me. Not all of the pillows had pillowcases and we couldn't find any extra - not good. The bathrooms definitely need to be upgraded. They feel like they haven't been touched in years and it shows. We found about three cockroaches in the kitchen and again I understand that those are prevalent in the area but the place just seems like it needs a good scrub. Communication with property management was easy.

Good house

Overall, a solid house and experience. There are some issues with the house, including a loose cabinet and pantry shelf, loose toilet paper roll holder, and a toilet that will run unless the handle is manually re-set. Close to the beach though, and in a very convenient location.
