Perfect Escape!

This was the perfect getaway for us! The pool was beautiful, we enjoyed the beach and especially enjoyed the poolside cabana to store items, have a relaxing lunch each day and to take a break from the heat. We plan to return!

Spring Break 1402

Very nice complex. 1402 was in great shape and had an incredible view pool, beach and ocean. the free umbrella and chairs are a big plus as well. good location to shops and dining. will stay there again in future

Average Place to Stay

I feel the property could be a tad more updated for what we paid. The cons were the third bedroom has no privacy, we put our kiddos in there so not a huge deal, but definitely worth mentioning. And the air was good in the main rooms, but hot in the bedrooms. Also, the floors were very dirty. I didn't bother/hassle with calling Compass to clean again, so I will disclose that. Pros were the place was very well stocked with towels/toilet paper, etc. The patio furniture was great, there was a lot of it.

Great space!

We loved our stay at Silver Shells! This unit was great for 6 adults plus a baby. Plenty of room to spread out between the large living and dining area, balcony and large bedrooms so we never felt like we were on top of each other. Easy access to pool and beach was wonderful. So nice to be able to take the baby out and be back for naptime without having to pack everything up. Beds were very comfortable. We did pretty much have to wear shoes/socks inside the entire time we were there but I think that is just beach/Florida life. The balcony view was so wonderful although a little hot/uncomfortable during the day but that is late August. I kept thinking it would be nice to have some sort of fan out there for the hotter months of the year. The management company was great to work with and were available to answer any questions I had before and during the stay. Would definitely stay here again if we ever come back to Destin.

This condo had everything at St Maarten, beautiful views from both king rooms and living room! Everything worked in the condo, no calls for any maintenance! Loved the elevator to the room! The lobby is stunning! Close to all restaurants and Walmart! Great food & drink service to beach! Gracie was awesome! One downfall, didn't allow personal umbrellas, even on back row. No biggie though. Check in & out was a breeze! The extremely large pool was never crowded! Loved our stay! 5 Stars! Cabot, AR

Nice and Well Appointed But!!!

Condo, was cleaned but floors were still dirty. It appeared they had not been mopped in some time. Toilets were dirty, and shower had mold. Shower drains didn't drain properly. Patio furniture was worn and broken.

Wonderful place!

Very pleasant accommodations with a wonderful view. The semi-private elevator worked out beautifully. There were a lot of children on the beach but that may be true of the entire Destin area.

It was a great ocean front view

When we arrived the property was clean and ready for use. It was located near a Walmart so it made shopping easy. The condo was as advertised. I can't say it enough every thing about the property was great. On my next visit to Destin. Fl. I will try to use the same condo
