No refrigerator our entire trip!

When we checked into our room on a Friday, there was a message on the App that instructed us that it may take 16-24 hours for our food to cool in the refrigerator. That seemed odd to me, but we followed the rules. The next morning, when we opened the refrigerator and freezer doors-not an ounce of cool. We lost EVERY BIT OF FOOD that we brought on vacation. We have two small children, so we did not plan to eat out at all on this trip. We cooked all of our meals beforehand, so we could jut enjoy the beach and pool. We immediately called Compass, the management company, Saturday morning, AND NEVER RECEIVED A CALL BACK. At this point, we had not one cube of ice... and we only brought an ice chest big enough for drinks at the beach. Once we called Saturday, we assumed someone would have immediately come to fix it. No communication. We did not hear back from anyone on Sunday-and we had to check out Monday morning. So, not only did we lose all of our groceries, and our pre made meals-- we had to eat out for seven meals--when we intended to eat out for zero. With a two year old and a five year old, that was a little miserable. I feel badly for even having to leave this review, as I'm sure the owners of this property trust that the management company would properly attend to their guests. The room itself was beautiful, clean, well furnished and spacious. The resort was beautiful, well spaced out--and the views were to die for. I sincerely hope that Compass plans to make this right with us.

Beautiful condo

Beautifully updated unit. Plenty of pillows, towels, etc. Check-in and check-out process was very easy. Beds and furniture was comfortable. View of the pool and gulf were amazing. Would definitely rent this unit again!

Perfect condo and resort!

In our group we had 2 couples and a 9 month old and this unit was perfect. The layout was ideal for having a baby because a pack n play fit in the master bedroom with no trouble. The entire condo was immaculate when we arrived. Well stocked kitchen with all the utensils we needed for our stay! The lagoon pool was perfect because it was not crowded even though there were several people there. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

St. Croix 605 was perfect!!! The condo was so very clean and had everything we needed plus more!!! I would most defiantly come back to Destin and try to stay in this condo!!!

Great place with great views

Overall we had a fantastic time. The condo was well kept and comfortable. The access to the beach and pool was super close and the added value of the beach chairs included in the price of the rental of the condo was one less thing to worry about. There were some plumbing issues with sinks and showers backing up which caused some calls to maintenance but they were handled in a prompt manor. Giving 4 stars due to constant maintenance issues. Already looking forward to booking the same next year!

Nice Condo.

We loved being on the 6th floor of St. Croix. The condo was nice with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We couldn’t get the tv in master bedroom to work but it wasn’t a huge deal because we didn’t watch much tv, we were worn out from our days on the beach. The sheets in master bedroom were rough, I would suggest changing them & the carpet throughout was nasty, there were stains everywhere. The carpet made this nice condo feel dirty. Overall we enjoyed our stay & would stay at. St. Croix again.

Very nice, clean, gated, safe and well maintained property

I would Highly reccomend staying in this resort. It met every expectation. The unit we stayed in did not seem to have accurate tempatures with the Air Conditioning unit, other than that, it was a very comfotable stay! Beautiful and spacious master bath and very nice 2nd bed/bathroom.

The unit was very tastefully decorated and clean. I liked the proximity to the pool...beach was a few steps more. View from balcony was great. Only downside is the cost of renting chairs and umbrellas...ridiculous. Therefore had to drag our family's chairs down each day. Only reason I gave a 4. Beach was beautiful.

Four and a half stars really

We loved this property! It was just he right size for our family. We had myself, my wife, our 3 year old and my wife's parents. This unit has two master bedrooms, which was perfect for us. It directly overlooks the pool and ocean and is steps from the elevator. The unit is nicely furnished as well. Be forewarned that if you want to reserve chairs and an umbrella on the beach, you'll shell out some money. It cost us $300 for two chairs and one umbrella for the week. Also, they have poolside cabanas for rent by the week. These are a nice add on as well (air conditioned and a private restroom), but cost about $75 a day (more in park season I assume). You have to ask about these when you book. We got lucky and were able to rent one from an onsite propert manager. Overall the rental was great. Convenient location to restaurants, golf and shopping; nice pool; great beach. The only thing keeping my review to four 1/2 stars instead of five is the extra costs I wasn't expecting. However, even knowing those costs, we'd definitely rent this until again.
