Welcome to Casa Bahari™. An eclectic mix of Swahili and Spanish, this home’s name means Home by the Ocean. As many homes in this area are built specifically for rental, such as small bedrooms and discount furniture, Casa Bahari is our personal home that is furnished as though we live there full time. Casa Bahari is an elegantly appointed home that is spacious and quite comfortable. If "packing them in" is not your motto during vacation, this Is Your Home. This home is about 700 square foot larger than most of the other homes nearby for rental.

Casa Bahari™ is located in Destiny West, one of Destin’s most exclusive communities and within walking distance of the beaches. This lushly landscaped and meticulously maintained gated community offers a large community pool, tennis courts, and a workout facility, all within walking distance of Destin’s sugar white sand beaches. For visitors looking for a luxurious residence just off the beaten path, Casa Bahari is the perfect choice.

The outdoor experience here is quite phenomenal. Integrated spa spillover and pool. Shallow sun shelf that is 16 inches deep along with a deep end of roughly 6ft. The pool is newly refinished with glass tile and a beautiful pebble style finish. There is a seating shelf all around the pool for entertaining and sitting around relaxing along with a beautiful LED multicolor light show at night in the pool and spa. The area over and around the pool has string lights with Edison old style filament bulbs in them. It truly is a beautiful experience at night, I am sure you won't forget it. On the back deck within 20 feet of the pool is an outdoor kitchen with an integral bar/sink with running hot water and refrigerator. There is a separate grill next to the outdoor kitchen.

Immediately upon entering, you’ll be struck by the European inspired elegance and décor. The spacious, gourmet kitchen is equipped with restaurant and professional grade appliances, a large, formal dining area, and access to the private and secluded pool and adjoining Spa tub. All of the entertainment area on the lower level offers views of the sanctuary and the beautiful pool area along with a fireplace below the TV in the living room to make a perfect ending to a day in the sun. Immediately off the kitchen, the laundry room is discreetly hidden, keeping your sandy towels contained in one convenient spot. A small first floor den and game room provides plenty of seating for the kids to get some gaming in on the large TV. The bunk bed provides an additional sleeping area that makes this room a great additional bedroom for young ones.

The spacious living room opens to a wraparound veranda, which has plenty of room for a grill and a table. With a view of the pool, the veranda is a perfect spot for alfresco dining, your morning coffee, or afternoon refreshment as the sunrise and sunset views can be appreciated since you have a south facing view.

The second floor houses three well-appointed guest bedrooms, which share two bathrooms. One of the bedrooms has additional hidden storage in an alcove. The master suite rivals some small apartments! Complete with a separate sitting room, this large bedroom has a wraparound porch, which provides a view of the pool, the community’s freshwater lakes, and the nature preserve. You also have the best seats in the theater as the room has a 65" Sony Cinema 4K display with a Dolby 5.2 surround system and subs built in under the bed. The master suite bathroom has a Jacuzzi tub, a separate spa shower that is quite large and walk-in, and two sinks with plenty of counter space. There are also generous his and her closets. The master also has a daybed that can be used if you wish for small children that may not want to sleep alone. All three rooms also have their own private built-ins from within the closet, with plenty of room to tuck away and organize belongings, great for extended stays.

This property features a charming carriage house, which is keyed separately from the main entrance. This airy loft space has a small kitchenette, a cozy, full bathroom, and top-of-the-line, luxury platform sleeper sofa that sleeps as comfortable as any bed. This room also hosts a 72" TV making it a great spot for a fun family night, spacious second master suite or additional bedroom. This room has large picture windows that face to the south and overlook the whole pool area and bird sanctuary.

Sometimes it's the little things that make the difference in the quality and comfort of a guest's stay, and no detail has been spared in this home. The robust 50 MB high-speed Internet can accommodate even the most demanding Internet needs. All of the TV's in the home are HD and have DVR receivers as well as access to the Genie HD DVR service. The Direct Premiere full package cable service will ensure you'll never miss your favorite TV show, movie or game. There's even unlimited long distance on the home phone just in case you need it. The Living Room has Apple TV.

The entire home is outfitted with a Control4 security system. This system offers guests the safety and sanctuary of full home security and exterior cams along with thermostat controls, lighting controls, TV, Audio (both indoor and outdoor) full control. This is a fully automated home that helps you throughout the night with lighting assistance while you enter dark rooms and you will never arrive to a dark house as you come home from the evening after a great night out. The home has indoor in ceiling audio system with Airplay and the outside veranda, pool area and balcony offer 9 outdoor speakers with Airplay also. We can custom tailor your Air-conditioning needs, as you may like, some restrictions apply. Would you like it to be 72 when you go to bed and wake to 71?

A six-passenger golf cart with canopy and nine bicycles are located at the home for your convenience, handy for trips to the Clubhouse or beach.

A clubhouse within walking distance offers a large members only pool along with tennis and basketball courts.

While Casa Bahari gives visitors an unprecedented level of luxurious privacy, you’ll never feel left out of the action, as this home is just a short drive away from many of Destin’s most popular restaurants, shopping, and attractions.

An additional pool heat fee is required for use of the spa as it is an integral portion of the pool. Any pool heat activation will need to be arranged prior to the guest arrival. Spa heat, regardless of the season, has a fee per day. Pool heat will be maintained at 85 degrees for fee per day or 89 degrees with an additional fee per day. If you select pool heat then Spa heat is included. Fall and spring are typically in the 70 degree temperature range. If you would like to heat the spa/hot tub then pool heat rates will apply is it is integrated into the pool system.

3,200 sq ft heated and cooled and over 1400 sq ft of covered balconies and decks with providence wicker outdoor furniture seating for 20.

The house is EV Car friendly as it has a NEMA 14-50 plug in the garage. Tesla friendly.

Total pool area is 14x28 ft within that area 14x10 is for the sun shelf area.

Patio area:
Dining seating for 6 then 4 around granite waterfall area. Total outdoor area seating for 20 on ground floor patio. Seating break down: 4 chaise lounges, 2 love seats, 4 padded wicker chairs, 2 normal chairs and dining table for 6. Outdoor kitchen area with working sink with hot water and cold, refrigerator, ice maker, trash bin and plenty of granite counter space. There is a propane grill next to this area. After use of first tank the second tank will need to be filled by renter. In freezing months, usually December 20th through February 15th, the sink and ice makers water supply line will be turned off and not usable.
