This place was fantastic! There was more than enough room for our group of 10. The house was in a beautiful gated community, it was clean and well maintained. We absolutely loved the pool! The house comes with a golf cart which was a huge bonus, we had no idea how much we'd love riding around Destin on it. It's a short ride to the beach and shopping. We highly recommend this place!

Family vacation

The property was great! Golf cart, bikes, pool, spa it was all great. Proximity to the beach was a plus too. We made a lot of meals at the house and non-stick pans would have been helpful.

Thanksgiving Trip

We did a family trip for Thanksgiving 6 adults and 3 kids. We had plenty of room for all of us! The house was great and all amenities were great! Having the pool heated was a huge added bonus! If we hadn’t had it heated probably wouldn’t have used it as much as we did. We would definitely rent this house again!

Great house for our stay!

The house is spacious & had plenty of room for us. The neighborhood is always nice & quiet & safe, this is our third time in this neighborhood. The pool & hot tub were fantastic! Great location as well!

Can’t wait to comeback!

The house was clean and well equipped for all 8 of us! The pool was great and super clean! We had no idea the wonderful location of this neighborhood and the golf cart included in the rental would definitely draw us back to stay again! Just hop on and it’s a two minute ride to the beach!!! Our only complaint is the stacakabke washer dryer unit is very small so we constantly had to do loads and the bath on the main floor is very small and serves as a master and main bath. But those are workable things given all the great features of the house location and managing company. We will definitely be back!

Loved it here!

The house was beautiful and the location was great! We didn’t however get the code to the lock box for the golf cart key until someone came back in the office on Monday. We arrived on Saturday and couldn’t figure out the code and texted Sunday for the code with no response. A few of the TVs in the bedrooms didn’t work. The local good was good. Jacacudas was an amazing place to eat!! We loved McGuire’s!! The restaurant is super cool and the food was great! We enjoyed going to Uncle Bucks fish bowl. Over all we had a great time!

Peltier stay

Great vacation spot. The pool was just perfect for our family. Lazy days at the house with the pool and fun packed days at the beach that was close and the golf cart was great to get back and forth. The house size was great for our family of 13. We had one little issue with grill and it was addressed within the hour. Great family vacation

Overall, the property was fantastic. The only areas of improvement would be wear/tear on the interior of the home including furniture. Also, directions for and communication about the pool/hot tub can be improved.

Property was very nice. I really thought we would be closer to the beach.😢 Our family really enjoyed the pool. The only thing the home owners association gave us 2 citations. I wasn't happy about that.

May vacation

Property was very nice. Gate code did not work. Called but no response, had to use another home owners. Instructions on check in was not sent until we arrived Would have been helpful to have at least a day ahead to print and review. TVs were difficulty to operate. No instructions, had to call maintenance twice. Lock box for key to golf cart was not sent. Had to call maintenance.

Beautiful!

This property is beautiful! The place was super clean when we arrived and picture perfect. The location is so handy and the golf kart made the beach and some close restaurants an awesome experience. The large private pool provided the kids with the most fun time. Bring in a peaceful, gated community, we’ll definitely be staying here again someday!

Perfect for girls trip

This home is very beautiful, very clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub and we liked the sitting area in the living room. We absolutely loved the fact that we had a golf cart. We took it to the beach two days and it was super helpful. I would definitely recommend this place.

For future renters of this property, this is for you

How do I start, well we were told only 2 cars, we contacted 3 times to make sure because we never got a straight answer… the driveway is small, so maybe 3 small cars, but anything bigger you can only fit 2. They will CHARGE a fee for everything (you see once you’ve checked in) Upon arrival we were pleased with the home, but then we got a look, the couches have covers which are stained horribly, one of our couches had a king flat sheet covering the couch cover (I have pictures and contacted them about that and the broken fridge, nothing was done so I just made a list for my review) The kitchen is huge but lacks major things you might need should you decide to not eat out on your vacation to save money, the items there are cheap and don’t work, the blender is broken, so bring one. The beds were comfortable, but lacked simple things like a end table between the two double beds (you have nothing to place water or a phone on) same with the room with the bunks, a small TV mounted to the wall would be nice too since that room is aimed for kids. The pool area was lovely, just needs more shade to be enjoyable for the afternoon days. The TV in the living room glitches bad, and the two recliner chairs next to the couches are as equally stained (I have pictures of them too) I would be embarrassed to rent that place with theses furnishings for the nearly 7000$ I paid for June 18-25…… the neighborhood is amazing but the inside of this home does not match the neighborhood or the amount charged. If Glass Casa spent a bit of all the earnings they are racking in and updated the very neglected things in this home it would be worth the cost.

We enjoyed our stay in the Destiny East neighborhood. Our house silver blessings worked perfectly for our family vacation. House was clean and roomy. If planning your trip come prepared with extra toilet paper, paper towel, garbage bags, spices,etc. Swimming pool in the backyard was a perfect for the kiddos and a good break from the beach if needed!

More good than bad, but it had its challenges

The location is great and it was very easy to get to the beach using the golf carts. Unfortunately, we ordered an additional golf cart due to the large size of our group…it was delivered before we arrived but without a key and was placed directly behind the one included with the house so for the first 24 hours we could not use either. They mentioned ahead of time that there wouldn’t be room for 2 golf carts and 2 cars at the house so we’d need to park a car offsite, but that was not the case. Overall the house was clean except for sticky bannisters and doorknobs. And the kitchen was well supplied with appliances and dishes, including an extra refrigerator in the garage. The only broken appliance was the crockpot, which we were surprised was there at all, but then were disappointed when we attempted to use it. The main refrigerator is also missing 2 shelves which significantly limits the amount of things you can keep in there, so the garage fridge was used heavily. The backyard area is beautiful but the heat was a little challenging. You can only heat either the pool or the spa at any given time and it takes the pool several hours to warm up, the spa about 30 minutes. Not a huge deal as long as you plan ahead for your outside time. When the beach was windy (or after dinner) this area was a wonderful place to hang out. The main challenge was in the overall size of the place. We had a group of 11 and the house is really only set up to accommodate 8 very well. There are beds shoved everywhere to get to the extra capacity, including bumped up against closets that can’t fully open because it’s so tight. The small bunk bed room didn’t even have enough space to keep any luggage - there is absolutely no space outside of the two beds except to walk into the room. Looks like it used to be the laundry room, which is now located in the garage, bumped up next to the golf cart. Additionally, at the table there is only seating for 8 so we had to bring in pool chairs to accommodate everyone. Same for the spa, only room for 8. I think if they reworked the beds and marketed it as a home for 8, it would be much better. The last thing I wanted to highlight is that their rules/fine warnings are a little out of control. We’ve stayed at a lot of VRBOs but never felt like we were at risk of being fined for every little thing. I’m sure it’s just in how it’s presented but it felt super over the top. We definitely wouldn’t rent from this company again.
