Room was ever nice and clean. Pool area is awesome and the workout area was decent, Food there was good and fairly priced. It was very close to all the local attractions. The only thing we had a problem with was with some of the disrespectful guests obviously out of the resorts control but they do have 24/7 security. We will definitely stay again when visiting

Our stay was fantastic! The condo was exactly as described — spacious, clean, and with a beautiful balcony view. The huge lagoon pool was a highlight for our family, and the resort amenities made everything so convenient. Check-in was smooth, and communication with the host was excellent. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Nice place but the blender and toaster didn't work, we didn't try the microwave so I don't know snoot that. The lave was beautiful though. No what I expected but still good. I would stay again.

Get what you pay for

Overall it was a great stay! It’s unfortunate that there were no extra things-cooking oil, coffee filters, salt/pepper. But it was nice there was a restaurant and coffee house in the main building. We did find a previous persons shorts and toy shark, so the cleaning could have been a tad better but overall I’d recommend this condo to another person. Location is also very nice too. Beach is a short walk and there are a ton of restaurants a short car distance away.

The pool area was great for kids and the bar was great for adults. The room itself was outdated. The kitchen needs an upgrade and the press and pans are all warped making cooking difficult The shower head in the master bedroom tried to peel our skin off while the toilet took forever to flush and the sink was backed up. These were minor issues so we would definitely stay here again if we needed to.

Important maintenance is needed!

We really enjoyed the Palms of Destin. This condo unit was what we were looking for. However, it needs some important maintenance. The door would not close and lock properly without us checking it every time. This was not safe! The walk-in shower door didn't shut properly. The kitchen faucet was broken. There were several other minor things as well. We didn't let all of this ruin our vacation, but it did diminish the enjoyment of our stay.

Recent stay

The only issue we really had was with the kitchen appliances. The microwave seemed to overheat constantly and not heat the food. Even if you only selected for a minute. You would have to do 30 second increments and even with that it would overheat and not heat your food thoroughly. There was also a broken shelf in the refrigerator. Lastly, I didn’t realize when booking that this was not on the beach. You had to cross a very busy road and then walk about a half mile after to get to the beach. Also because it is not on the beach, with the new Fl law, there is only a small segment of beach access you are allowed to utilize.

Was not what I expected

To start my family and I visit FL every year and we’ve never been disappointed until now. Not only was it more expensive than anywhere else we’ve rented, it’s not as it seems in the advertisement. First, the location… it’s not just a walk across the little walk way to the beach. It’s actually a walk down the street and across the hwy. The pools they have here are cool but it’s not all of what they say it is. It’s actually really basic. Secondly, the whole building smells like wet animals. Now as of the condo/apartment itself….2608 is a complete joke. Walked in and it’s hot as hell. The a/c doesn’t cool below 73 degrees. I look around there’s think layers of dust everywhere. So as always, we pull out the Clorox wipes and wipe down. The carpet is disgusting. The faucet in the kitchen… trash. It leaks and only allows you to turn on hot water. The ice maker… also trash and there’s a broken door shelf in the fridge. I sat something on top of the little refrigerator and when I took it down a lot of dust came with it…..disgusting! We were looking for a can opener to cook..LOL it’s broken… all three of them. We tried to heat something in the microwave…. It’s also broken. It runs but doesn’t heat. I emailed them about it. She emailed back saying someone would be over shortly to take care of it… they never showed. Oh and the garbage disposal smells horrible. The shower door in the bathroom doesn’t close and the toilet paper holder was broken. We were trying the vacuum the floor and of course…. The vacuum doesn’t do anything but leave lines in the carpet as if it was freshly vacuumed. Lastly, apparently they have rats also because there was one that was still alive but dying on the walkway by the entrance door. We were not satisfied with or stay. Next year my family and I will not be booking here again. If you’re planning on booking this location… think again. There’s much better places on the other side of the hwy that’s actually worth it.

Deceiving

So some properties are allowed to check in at noon, we couldn’t until 4 pm “to ensure the place is clean” which all you want to do after traveling is to settle in and start your vacation. The condo was not clean.. there was a thick layer of dust in the kitchen, hair in the shower, and things on floor clearly stating they didn’t sweep. Not only was it not clean, the one patio chair was broke and so was couch. The dining room light was clearly broke from the recent stay and they didn’t fix it.. The outlet behind the night stand was broken, and the toilet didn’t flush. When we contacted the manager, they didn’t even communicate with us someone would be in to fix the toilet so we walked into our condo with a card.. completely unprofessional and was not apologetic. I recommend finding another condo.

Nice place could have been better experience if was properly cleaned.

Cleaning was a issue when we arrived. Lots of areas were missed. Dusting very over looked. Soap scum on bathroom countertops and bathtub missed. Toilets not properly cleaned. I put almost all of problems on Cleaning crew. Someone should be checking this out before guests arrive.

For price great stay

Was plenty to do at resort, several pools, nice staff, nicely located. Plenty of bedding and towels... Only think which is petty, but could maybe stock up w more silverware. There was 5 of us, and I think only 4 forks. We were constantly washing to use before we had a dishwasher half way full Overall, recommend if you don't care about a beach view
