Very clean. Not as close to beach as i thought, but it was just a short walk to cross street. I think they could have offered more than 1 roll of toilet tissue. They need a dumpster that is reachable, if taking out the trash is required. Idk how anyone gets up to a 10ft dumpster...

Perfect Vacation Spot

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything you need is provided. Very clean, quick access to the beach, restaurant right across the road all walking distance. Very cozy and would definitely return here when we come back. All instructions very easy from check in to check out. Family friendly!

Great, family friendly spot so close to the beach!!

I am so glad I came across this place when looking for a place to stay during our week-long trip. My husband and I loved that our 2 year old and 10 month old had plenty of space to safely play. The walk to the beach was less than 5 minutes which was so nice. I was pleased to see that we were provided with travel sized laundry detergent, dryer sheets, and dish soap as well as shampoo/conditioner if needed. The only downside I would say is that it was not specified that you would have to pay to use the laundry room. Other than that we LOVED our stay here. Would definitely book again and recommend this place to others. Thank you!!!!

Chateau Le Mar

Had trouble finding building, not on the beach, false advertising by complex, trouble with toilet but fixed, could not open gate to private beach, no chairs. Condo was fine but pet friendly they are not. Had to cover couch, chairs, and bed to keep out dog hair...how is that pet friendly, had to bring extra garbage bags, dishwasher soap, toilet paper and paper towels. This seems extreme.

Great Location for Pets

We booked this property due to our dogs and it worked out very well. Lots of grassy areas and disposal bags and receptacles. The lawns were watered each night keeping those areas fresh. We could also walk to two good restaurants and ride our bikes to others. For the price, a good choice for us.

Shore dreams rentals

My only complaint is that simple amenities were not provided. I had to buy toilet paper and beach towels, salt and pepper, tea and honey. There were not enough trash bags, and no dust pan to sweep and pick up sand on the floor.

Quaint Condo by the Ocean

We enjoyed five glorious days at Chateau La Mer. Walking distance to the beach, where we were greeted daily by Carl who showed us where our ocean view seats were for that day! Heaven! Absolute Heaven. We will definitely be going back. Only drawback of the visit were the knats....Nothing a can of RAID can't beat!!! Many blessings abound at Chateau La Mer; Tailfins tiki tours, Kenny D's, Blalocks Seafood Market, and Boathouse Oyster Bar, all minutes away creating the perfect getaway. Thank you Chateau-we will see you again in 2025!

Beautiful

The stay was absolutely amazing! We loved how close the beach was to the property, as well as, restaurants and fun activities. The property was well maintained and made us feel right as home! The stay was very comfortable for the 5 nights we stayed. We enjoyed the pool as well! 10/10

Family Vacation 2023 in Destin

We are a Family of four and really enjoyed the property. It provided just the right amount of space and privacy we needed for a great Family vacation. We utilized the barbecue grill provided on the nicely furnished patio area as well as cooked a couple of days. The unit was clean and free of insects and didn’t have any unusual smells. The decor was nice and gave beach vibes in a beautiful way. We also had our Yorkie, an ESA with us, which they honored and did not charge a pet fee. We would definitely visit again and get the same unit as we really enjoyed along with the close proximity to the beach and private access. It also wasn’t far from great restaurants and attractions.
