Anniversary getaway

Denzel at the check in counter was not friendly at all for someone just checkin in. And couldn’t use our balcony due to the fact that our neighbors would smoke weed all day and night but…. The rest was as described. Beaches were beautiful

Construction - Pool Closed

The room was nice. It was clean and smelled good with a great view of the ocean. It was beside the construction we weren't told about so we heard loud construction noise through the walls. The pool was closed without any warning or other options. If you call a small indoor pool filled with young children an option you're wrong. The construction company did not protect the vehicles parking in the handicapped area. Our car received damage and so did another (we videoed) had some type of what looked like white mortar spotting the side, top and front of our car. Also, RealJoy never contacted us about an outstanding issues when we were on the call for 1.5 hours with them. Other than these things, we very much enjoyed our vacation. Won't go back to the property.

Not clean/construction

Room smelled very bad as if something was dead in there. We went to store to buy air fresheners. Floors were filthy, had to wear shoes the whole time because your feet would be black immediately. Woke up at 4 AM to a rat in our room. Spent the rest of our trip with a rat trap in kitchen we had to step around to get in some cabinets. Construction work on building started around 730 AM with constant drilling and loud buzzing all day long. We went on vacation for peace and quiet and not at all what we got! Wish we had some type of warning about all the construction because we would not have stayed there!

Wonderful stay. Love the location by the beach & restaurants. We really appreciated the early check-in availability especially after a 14-hr drive.Rooms are a little outdated including main door that has metal sticking out on the bottom that can cut your feet & can do serious damage (reported to bldg), sofa bed probably needs to be replaced & is not what’s in the description or pictures posted.

Great stay

It was better than the pictures listed online. It had some modern updates that were really nice. The views from the balcony were amazing! The chair service that was purchasable on the beach was a great bonus. We enjoyed the restaurant in the lobby and the shop which had anything we may have needed while on the beach. It was a little warm in the room considering the air conditioning unit is on the balcony and makes it hard to hear the ocean from the balcony when it’s running.

We had a wonderful stay. The only hic cup was we locked ourselves out in the balcony within 30 minutes of arriving. Luckily, I had a phone in my hand and was able to call front desk for help. Security came VERY shortly. He told us this happened often. Perhaps since it does then at the very least put a warning on the door reminding to close door carefully.

Relaxation station

Great stay, Great views, Great beaches and plenty to do! What more do you need! There is plenty of room for a blowup mattress in the living room if bringing 2 teenagers. Two minor things, captain chairs on the balcony need to be replaced (which I'm sure they would've done if I called) and internet is hit and miss (which was fine by us).

Weekend Trip

We were surprised to learn about SunDestin’s “no personal umbrella” policy and wish this information would’ve been available on the listing. Overall it’s a nice unit, just a bit awkward and outdated. The bed is wildly uncomfortable and the AC unit on the balcony really takes away from the 17th floor view. I am not sure we would stay here again but it was nice for a weekend getaway.

5 stars This was our first time here and we loved it. Our 1 bdrm condo was perfect for us because it was just hubs and I. The furniture wasn’t the same as the picture which included a recliner, but there was a small hideabed couch. It worked, we didn’t spend much time in the condo anyway. The view is magnificent which is the primary reason I picked the SunDestin. The room faces just west of due south, but not by much. We could not see the sunrise directly or the sunset directly, guessing because of the strip of condos. Anyway it’s beautiful. Would highly recommend. There’s 1 1/2 baths which was cool and a walk-in linen closet off the half bath. Perfect for two people. I couldn’t get the iron to work in the half bath, but it worked in the bedroom. The internet/wi-fi in the room was spotty. The wi-fi/internet reception on the beach was terrible. Had to listen to music on my iTunes app on my phone rather than stream, and even Verizon data didn’t pick up. That was frustrating. We never could get the tv in the bedroom to work and the toaster needs a better one. Minor things to say the least. Overall, it was a spectacular trip and we loved the condo. It was perfect for just the two of us. We will be back.

Had a wonderful time with some of the most beautiful beaches! The condo was clean & well stocked for what we needed it for. There was a pigeon that lived on our balcony-but we named it & it never gave us any trouble! Truly an amazing time & I would definitely go back!

Great place

Beautiful place, easy to get in and out, nice beach, in the middle of the best area on the island, friendly/helpful staff. But, microwave didn't work, had to get another one delivered, the front door would not close itself because of poor fit, one bathroom door hard to close/open. Overall complaints were an irritant, but didn't affect my enjoyment. Would I stay there again? Yes, in a heartbeat, overall I thoroughly enjoyed my five day stay.
