EXCELLENT! Service Was Top Gun! This is the absolute best company that we have worked with for vacation rentals. I do not often give a review; but, this review is necessary because of the outstanding service. I would give 10 stars if possible. If you are going to the gulf on vacation; you should definately rent from Beach Reunion Vacation Rentals!!!!!

Great rental with some needed tlc

We enjoyed our time very much… great location to beach and lake in back was great for fishing. Some repairs need to be done on the dock wood for safety reasons and some other in house repairs too need to be fixed. The upstairs didn’t stay very cool since there is only 1 A/C regulator, which was for downstairs. A separate upstairs unit should be added. But it’s a lovely home overall and in a great neighborhood.

Gorgeous house with a beautiful view!

We were greeted immediately through text about the house and response was immediate. This house was gorgeous. Entering this house you are greeted with a beautiful foyer and a spectacular view of out the living room floor to ceiling windows of the pool that overlooks the lake in the community.The grand kitchen with the open floor space was marvelous. I thoroughly enjoyed using the gas range to make my family a seafood feast. The master bedroom and ensuite master bath was a sight to see! Large tub and walk-in shower with 3 shower heads, including the rain head was marvelous.The house was clean, the neighborhood was very well lit for night walks or just a nice ride with our reacted golf cart. It's less than 5 minutes from the beach entrance so coming and going was very easy. My family loved the house and definitely enjoyed our night swims in the pool. Highly recommended!

beautiful home

we enjoyed our stay in Destin. It’s a great location near the ocean. Many restaurants nearby. we loved the pool with our grandchildren! we had a few issues with the pool, but they came out right away and fixed them.

Property ownership transfer during our stay

We had a group of 13 adults staying together. The description said there was a hot tub, but the management said that this meant you could use the community hot tub at the club house. The hot tub which was attached to our pool was not operable as a hot tub (jets didn't work and heat was finicky). Ownership transferred while we were there, so we had no WiFi when we got there, had to have maintenance bring a router and fix the pool heat. The buyers agent wanted to walk through the house during our stay and then didn't actually come (after I specifically waited around).The kitchen amenities could use an update but it was nice to have a crockpot. The stove desperately needed a cleaning. Otherwise, a lovely house in a nice neighborhood. Great view of the water. Would suggest replacing the rotten wood on the deck before someone gets hurt.LOVED the turtles that would swim up to the edge of the water.

2024 thanksgiving break

Our stay was nice! House was spacious and exactly like listing! Only issue we had was the pool! Heat stopped working multiple times! Outside grill needs cleaned and upstairs bunker couldn’t get lights to go off had to unscrew lightbulbs! Other than that is was perfect! Would stay again but when warmer out

The neighborhood is very nice. This location is close to everything. The house is beautiful. It was only 1 thing wrong, one of the rooms was a full size bed, but in the description it said it was a queen size. Other than that, it was perfect

Family Vacation

The property was beautiful and accommodated my family well. Located just a short golf cart ride from the beach other amenities, we were able to survive without a car rental. We definately would love to rent this property again. Our only request would be to provide a broom onsite!

Great Time at Anchor Down

Anchor Down was home base for our annual golf trip. It accommodated the 7 of us very well. We have been renting large beach houses like this for our trip for over 20 years. This property ranks with the best. It is well maintained and stocked with the typical wear and tear to be expected with a beach rental. A couple call outs for future consideration… - The floors and carpets could really use a good scrubbing - One of the upstairs bedrooms was missing window coverings… glad I didn’t get that room!! - If renters are willing to pay for it, pool heat should be available. We missed the June 1 cutoff by 4 days. The pool temp was in the 70’s making it unusable… and the spa really isn’t a spa… it just recirculates the pool water so it was unuassable as well.

Awesome stay

My daughter was married this summer. We had three separate families stay in this home. It was laid out perfect for us. The property is just as depicted, and we had an amazing stay. We enjoyed the pool, the view from the pool. The tv and grill outside were a big hit.

Family Reunion

Beautiful! Amazing! Great location! Walkable/bikeable to the beach. A very relaxing stay. A few issues that the owner should have addressed prior to our stay including having paid for the heated pool, told on Sat before check-in that the heat was turned on and ready but it was not and finally had it turned on Monday so ready for Tues and no refund issued for the 3 days lost. Some bedrooms do not have closets, which was a little unusual, and my husband in a wheelchair could not access the water closet in the beautiful main bath, but the shower worked well for him. Fortunately we travel with ramps and walkers for him to access the house and patio area. We would stay here again for the view and walkability. Beautiful neighborhood!
