The host was wonderful when i called for help i gotit right away everything was great the only thing to keep in mind is this is a 3rd floor walk up so syeps are a pain but the apt is beautiful

Love to set up unfortunately the pictures show the house on the beach and you assume that you can walk straight out, but unfortunately it’s all private property and there’s no trespassing behind it so you have to walk to the end of the subdivision to get to the beach.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The space was so clean and comfortable! The size was perfect for my Mom and I. She just retired and wanted to go someplace where she could see and hear the ocean from her room. Her view was perfect. Nothing between her room and the water but the beach. It is annoying that someone has put a fence between the property and the beach and that you have to walk a few blocks to the public access point, but that's not the fault of the property owner, and it didn't stop us at all from going to the beach every day. The closest restaurant, Louisiana Lagniape, was one of the best meals of our trip! We would absolutely stay here again!

Family Memorial Trip

The accommodations were clean and comfortable, providing a relaxing atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive.The location was convenient and offered easy access to nearby attractions. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would recommend it to others.

Have to walk .5 miles to beach, and its not private

Deceptive ad, this place is not near a private beach. You have to walk .5 miles to a public beach. Or much further to private beach that maybe 1.5 miles away? Owner admit that a fence was put up to block closer access to beach “a week ago” offerred partial refund and (not surprisingly) lie again and never follow up. Buyers beware!!

Destin Getaway

Nice comfy 2br 2bath comfy with access to the beach. The views of the water were awesome...especially on a full moon night. Price for this time of year was really good! I would definitely use this listing again if available in the future.

Family vacation

We would rent this again just for the deck. The view and the breeze coming off the ocean was amazing. The only downside to this one was taking the two flights of stairs with luggage and groceries. Then the long walk down the street to get to the private beach. You can NOT walk across the sand in the back of unit due to it being owned by another company. Again, the unit was amazing!

Great place, overall!

The condo was lovely. Very peaceful and relaxing. The view from the deck was gorgeous. The biggest disappointment was that the path to the beach directly behind the condo is no longer available to use. You have to walk a longer distance around the block to get to the public beach access.

Perfect Vacation Get Away

Beautiful property that was clean and had everything we needed for a family beach trip! The walk to the beach was a little far with our toddler, but the views were great and there was lots to do around the area! We would definitely stay here again!

Quiet Getaway

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. We booked last minute and it was great. Here are a few things of note: there is a dehumidifier in the living room that fills up quickly, it works great to keep the place feeling nice, and it makes a pleasant white noise sound. The umbrella on the porch made for an excellent experience, despite some of the chairs needing to be replaced. I would also reccomend a couple of lounging chairs. The dunes before the water are very beautiful. They also provide a sound barrier to ocean, which my husband and I did miss from the porch. There are many finishing boats in the morning, which are very pretty to watch. There many tour boats, which we assume come from Destin Harbor, to drop off people to stay on the beach during the day. Although this could seem like a nuisance, the sound barrier the dunes provide blocked the noise from the house. Although the beach in front of the house is filled with many people from the tours boats, walking down the beach and past the jettie, more than makes up for what could be precieved as annoying. My husband and I felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves, we saw many dolphins, and enjoyed watching the big boats go out to sea. We used the umbrella, chairs, and cooler provided which all worked great! You should be fairly active to take the approximate 1/3 mile treck through a sandy path in the dunes, past the blue umbrella chairs, and past jettie to this wonderful beach experience. Would reccomend!

Such a hidden gem with a beautiful view. It is an older property which you can’t tell from the pictures but we loved it and it was cozy.

Not bad

Inside was nice and clean. Outside & deck was dated but not too bad. Garage is tight. Outside parking spot small. Hard for large SUV or truck. Walk to beach not too far. Problem is you cannot set up until you pass the chairs & umbrellas from the other condo. It’s the “snorkeling “ Beach side and was beautiful! It’s a hike to the main beach. But equally as nice ! Might stay again if price was right.

The inside of the condo great!

The neighborhood was older and not appealing but the condo itself was very nice. The condo is on the third floor so you must carry everything up three flights of stairs. The view is beautiful but it is a long walk through the sand to get to the beach. The beach is shared by a large commercial property so local guests, such as condo guests, must go further down the beach to set up because the commercial property has first choice.
