Wonderful Time

The property was great. It looked exactly how it was pictured. It was a few steps from the beach with chairs and umbrellas. Check in was simple.

We love coral reef! We come here for family reunion of sorts each grand child n family gets own room and days on beach and grounds are amazing Over the years friends join us for this week of fun in sun Very safe n family friendly! Highly recommend

Dirty and beat up

Very disappointed with the condition of unit 5. Baseboards and chair rail (on walls) were extremely dirty…. Full of dirt and grime. Bathroom counter had sticky brown substance on it. Wall by mirror in bathroom had a gross looking smear of something. Walls and trim all very beat up. Furniture is pretty beat up as well. The track in the closet very rusted and dirty. Washer worked but was all rusted on bottom. Floors were sticky throughout. I will say the location was prime, staff was organized and friendly. They offered to re-clean the unit but I instead opted for borrowing some supplies so I could do some clean up myself and purchased Lysol wipes immediately. The unit had all the amenities we needed to cook. Enjoyed being able to use the grills outside. This is our first VRBO experience so maybe this is what you get for the money, but all in all was not thrilled with the quality of this rental.

Great location for a summer holiday at Coral Reef Club

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We first visited Coral Reef Club over 30 years ago, and the location still is the primary reason we chose to celebrate beach holiday. Our rental unit still required almost daily maintenance calls but is still a good value for the beach quality. We were also walking distance from the Beach Walk Cafe, our favorite restaurant in Destin.

So much so we left a day early. As much as we enjoy the place itself, I cannot go a week with poor sleep. Same is true of unit we staying in last year.

Views are amazing, location to the beach is amazing, quiet, friendly, kids loved it. I wanted a place I could walk right out ot the beach from our own doors, and this was it! It was secluded and magical. I am sure it is busier in the summer, but the beach is private for these residents and it couldn't have made for a better family vacation! While it isn't right by the boardwalk, we didn't feel we missed out at all. There was an AMAZING Italian Restaurant super close, a great breakfast spot, and tons of shopping!

Older Condos but great location

Overpriced for what you get. Small 1 bed. Issues: one toilet was rocking and loose. Floor had not been cleaned. Couldn’t walk barefooted without getting dirty feet. Needs mopped. Some of the metal components were rusting and not visually attractive. Entry requires physical key and must pick up the key at the office. Wifi had some slowness during our stay. Not a bad unit but just way overpriced for what you get. It is beach front and that means a lot. Beach Service guy was outstanding.

We were a little hesitant to rent this place because it had 0 reviews but we’re so glad we did! The only advice I would give the owner is to buy a new shower rod and curtain. This one fell on us 4 or 5 times and was a pain to put back up time and time again. Also maybe a couple of soft blankets for the living room or an extra one for the bed. We went and bought one but it would’ve been an appreciated addition. Other than these little random thoughts, the place was outstanding!!!!!
