great getaway and beautiful room just like what was pictured. Beautiful Gulf views. only bad thing was pickleball courts were closed for repaving but the property manager let us know in advance..not a big deal and found great pickleball courts in ft walton which was 10-15mins away..beach was fabulous and super white sand and IMO was even a better beach than Siesta Key in Sarasota..condo was clean and met/exceeded expectations..price was a bit high but was in line with other comparable properties and you always pay more for great views..great place!!

Absolutely wonderful experience!The unit was the cleanest we have rented in over 15 years. Kathy’s paintings added so much taste & charm to a wonderfully decorated condo with very modern amenities. We will gladly recommend this property to friends & family!

Kathy’s condo was great. She was awesome and very communicative! The only issue with was the property itself - nothing to do with Kathy. The elevators were frequently broken, which made getting up and down to the 16th floor slow and inconvenient. But everything was clean in her place, the kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfy, the sofa was comfy for nights in, and the location of the property was awesome - close to everything! We could even walk to Big Kahuna’s Water Park across the street!

Great location

The property was in a great location. Check in went very smoothly, and plenty of carts available to help move your luggage. The unit itself was decorated very nicely. The owner is a very good artist with pieces displayed throughout the unit and the lobby of the building.

Wonderful stay!

My husband and I stayed here with our 15 month old daughter. The condo was clean, Kathy was very responsive and helpful and the resort had great amenities. We would definitely recommend and would stay again!

Great family trip!

This was our second time staying at the Pelican Beach Resort and it was just as great as the first time. We were super impressed with how clean the unit was, how easy it was to check-in and out, and of course the easy access to the beach. The host provided a lot of great information ahead of our stay with what was provided, what we needed to bring, and nearby accommodations. It was super helpful for our planning process. We would definitely love to stay at this unit again and will be back to the Pelican Resort - it's a family favorite!

Perfect condo

The condo was perfect. Everything was recently remodeled with the exception of the master bath. The property itself felt so safe with security guards constantly walking around. The elevator situation was a bit tricky. Only 2 of the 4 main elevators were dependable but the elevator nearest this condo was functional. The tiki bar was a huge hit for the adults and the kids loved all the pools :)

Great stay at the Pelican!

My family had a wonderful stay at Kathy’s condo! It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The resort was well maintained and just a few steps from the beach. We will definitely be back!

Best Vacation

Our condo was clean and had everything we needed. We used the float everyday. Pools were great and my daughter learned how to swim while we were there. Elevators were better than other places we have stayed. The only problem is they don’t have enough carts to help carry your things in. People keep them in their rooms so we ended up buying a laundry basket with wheels to help with carrying things in. I recommend bringing a wagon if you have one. Perfect area for shopping and eating. Book with Kathy. You won’t regret it!

Nice Stay

The host had great communication. Overall, it was clean. That’s major coming from me because I have OCD. The view was perfect, and the balcony was our favorite part. Parking was really convenient. The master bed was comfortable but the other two beds were shaky. Overall, I would recommend this property and would stay here again.

Kathy was an excellent host. She was very responsive to our questions/concerns. You can tell she takes great pride in her property. The rental was well maintained and my family had a wonderful trip. We also lucked out with very nice weather during our March stay.

Just book it! This place is great!

Ok, I have traveled quite a bit and I am recommending this condo! My husband, three teenage boys, and I spent Spring Break in Destin. 1) The condo owner is GREAT and incredibly HELPFUL and COMMUNICATIVE! 2) Condo was clean and comfortable and aptly resourced. The pull out bed was comfortable (per my son). We have 5 so the 6 seater dining set afforded family games. The decor was beachy. Linens clean. Wifi worked. Washer and Dryer used every day. 3) The location of the condo is good. I have been in places where you wait 20 minutes to catch the elevator. Not here, quick elevator to the 16th floor - no problem. The TIKI hut on-site serves really great food (honestly, excellent pizza and other things) and great drinks. 4) the beach is well maintained. The chair rental company very nice and helpful. The chairs themselves are more chairs and not loungy per se. Practically impossible to lay on my stomach, but all in, really great. 5) Destin, AJs restaurant, Bochamps, Back Porch are a few great restaurants (driving distance but worth it). Pricy but worth it. Beach water was too cold and therefore Crab Island out of our plans. BUT, we've been in the summer and Crab Island is great. Enjoy!!
