"We had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous historic home. We were lucky to enjoy TWO town events that took place right beside the property: a Sunday market and a Friday evening concert. The latter wasn’t even audible once we turned in for the night because the walls are so thick! There were definitely some oddities in the house due to its age, but that’s to be expected. The kitchen was well appointed and we had all we needed for cooking and food prep. Overall, you couldn’t beat the location for...

"The view alone would be reason enough to stay at this wonderful property, but we also adored the beautiful house, charming village, excellent hiking within a reasonable drive (rivière du chene, rivière gentilly, and the national Parc mauricie), and of course the hot tub.
