My family of four (2 adults, 2 teens) spent 9 nights here while visiting D.C. and the surrounding area. The unit was clean and bright and we didn't get noise from the adjoining areas of the house. We only had one vehicle, but there was ample parking if we'd had more vehicles. The house is in a nice neighborbood and there's a great park just down the road. The park has a lake for fishing, a treetop ropes course and trails for hiking/running.
There was plenty of space for all of us, although if we were all in the living room together, someone had to sit in the computer desk chair as there is only a loveseat and one chair. There aren't a lot of dishes or large pans, but we were certainly able to make due. They provided some toilet paper, paper towel and dishwasher detergent which other homes we've stayed in haven't. There was only one towel per person for the time we were there. More may have been available, but we didn't ask.
Z was very kind and answered our questions promptly. He gave us some guidance to area sights and some info on the Metro. The Metro is only 2.6 miles away and is a great way to get into D.C. and back. We went into D.C. on three days and we drove to the National Aquarium in Baltimore on another. Gettysburg National Military Park is about an hour away, but it is well worth the trip. There are several malls nearby, which made our daughter happy, and there are lots of dining options.
The price was great compared to what I saw in the area when researching for our trip. Our damage deposit was refunded quite promptly. I would recommend this rental to anyone staying in this area.
