"My wife and I stayed for three nights at Bartles Lodge in August 2026. We were warmly welcomed by proprieters upon arrival. The premises were clean and comfortable, we opted for a continental breakfast and the selection offered was excellent. We ate two evening meals which were hot and tasty and well presented. The main lounge was spacious with a bar, tv and reading materials. Although we weren't fishing, the lodge was a great facility to stay at in quiet and beautiful surroundings. We highly...

Polite welcoming staff. A good choice of breakfast. Nice clean room and en-suite.

"Our stay Was nice and relaxing.bed was comfortable. Tea coffee with lots of milk . Free standing bath made a nice change also with shower hose.complimentary shower gel , shampoo and body lotion .Warning though! If you book into the restaurant make sure your hungry generous meals lots of choice very pleased with what we had . Breakfast was lovely too.Out second time here . Thanks"

"Lovely friendly staff, always remembering that I stayed before. We get the room we have requested.
We order a vegetarian roast which is outstanding, food delicious and hot.
Plenty of parking.
Depending where the room is you can hear the traffic going past in the evening & mornings but overall alovely stay.
That's why we keep going back and also you have a choice of breakfast part of the deal."
