"The majority of golfers arrive for the day and do not stay overnight. The result being after 9pm, the lodge is very quiet. For some that will be a like or dislike. I stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed my stay with no complaints. All the staff I met were helpful and friendly."

"We stayed for 1 night on our way to a MSV trackday at Donnington Park. Our room was on the first floor overlooking the River Trent. The location was great. Parking was fine and overall a pleasant stay. We chose to eat in the restaurant - unfortunately too few staff meant service was not great. The Sunday roast was ok but also not great. "

"The Hotel and room was was very clean and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was fantastic but the mattress was terrible, I usually have a hard mattress but it was like sleeping on the floor, I lost over 3hrs sleep through not being able to get comfy."
