Best view

Two seniors enjoyed sitting by window and watching waves. Walked to nearby coffee & restaurant and along coastal path. Stairs, which we knew about, a bit of challenge. Lovely home, decor, great shower!

Good location and view

Good locations and view but cleanliness was not the best. Weird food splatters on the walls that we felt obligated to clean up and the fire alarms were beeping due to low batteries. Tried to contact the host but didn’t hear back from them on helping us. For having to pay such a high cleaning fee it didn’t feel clean.

Great rental!

Very nice. Kitchen was sparsely furnished with utensils and dishes and coffee cups. There were no paper towels, which is unusual. The view was great. The bed was very comfortable.it is not handicap friendly.lots of stairs. The shower in the master bath was awesome

Indoor waterworks

Place could've been cleaner but the major problem was the water dripping from the kitchen ceiling and pouring from the light fixtures in one bedroom. We probably saved the property owner from disaster by placing pans to catch the gallons of water that hit the bed and bedroom flooring and table. An offer to move us was unsatisfactory as it required moving to a different city and the waiving of 50% of one night's fee was hardly compensation for the stress. VRBO will not be getting my business again.

Great experience

We loved the location, we could walk everywhere including up the street to an amazing cliff side trail to watch crashing ocean waves. We were 2 minute walk to Tidal Raves which was an amazing restaurant. Bay View Thai kitchen another great restaurant. The condo was well equipped, spacious and clean.Our party of four would highly recommend this place.

Spectacular view

We had a wonderful week at this property. It is as advertised. The view from the living room and balcony are absolutely beautiful. I spent every morning sitting on the balcony watching the waves and the boats head out to sea. There is a small beach at the bottom of the cliff directly in front of the property that my teenage boys loved. The trail is a bit tricky, but short and worth the trek. The shops, restaurants and whale watching station are all easily within walking distance. The property was very clean and well maintained. The master bathroom has an amazing shower. The kitchen does lack in basic seasoning and did not have liquid dish soap or a drain board for dishes that require hand washing. The stove has two burners and what I am assuming is meant to be a sort of indoor grill. This made it slightly difficult to make larger meals but is more than adequate for basic meals. Also, for the light sleepers out there, the noise from the traffic is very audible at night. The property is very close to the main highway. The traffic at night is very light, but the occasional truck passing by did wake me up. My husband and boys did not have a problem with this at all so I'm sure it won't bother everyone. Overall the experience was wonderful. The few problems that we had were quickly taken care of with a text to the property managers. We very much enjoyed our stay and should we ever make it back this way would stay again. highwaythe

We loved the views and location. There is a wonderful coffee bar a couple hundred feet away. The 2nd bedroom bed was a little worn and had a plastic cover on it.

Anniversary trip

Great place to stay!

Lovely home with great views of Depoe Bay! Kitchen is well stocked with the necessary gadgets. There’s plenty of extra blankets and pillows. Very cozy. Microwave is a little small - it burned the microwave popcorn because the bag got stuck and stopped rotating but, sheesh, what a little thing to nitpick on!! Each bedroom has its own bathroom and the master bedroom shower is ahhhhhhmazing. Great water pressure too! Hope to stay here again!

Terrible communications

Property was OK, but poorly maintained. Broken furniture. Bad water leaks. Had to go through Verbo to communicate because host would not comunicate. Not even for entry instructions even when minutes from unit. Based on leaks and broken furniture, coupled with the worst communication of all our vacation rental experience, this was the worst. We did not feel like guest, it felt more like parking your car on a lot in a big city...

Problem we had

We have been coming to this location for several years and really like it. It is not up to the standards it was years ago, but still a very nice place to stay. The only problem we had this year is when they told us to take out the garbage and we could not find a garbage can to put it in (they used to have a dumpster in the overflow parking, but it is no longer there). You might want to give better instructions on where to find things. Thank you

Just some advice

The condo was beautiful and very clean! First impression, a little odd that there wasn’t even a roll of paper towels. We bought some at Safeway. Yesterday, we lost power at 3pm. Not anyone’s fault, freaky ice storm. But, we had no power, no candles, no throw blankets, no emergency lighting such as nightlights! It was DARK and cold downstairs. The gas fireplace worked, but no fan. Downstairs in the bedrooms was so dark.

Wonderful!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay and loved Depoe Bay- we really did see whales from the LR window! The only issue we had is that this particular unit is quite close to Route 101 which was a bit noisy. No big deal but thought it's worth mentioning if you have light sleepers!
