Whalers Loft is a dream come true...We LOVED spending our Thanksgiving week there. The view and ocean sounds can't be beat. There was even a storm one day -- and we just stayed at the window all day, watching. The home is much larger than we imagined, and Very Comfortable. EVERYTHING was so convenient. We were mesmerized by the waves and feel truly rested. Thank you!!

We absolutely loved this condo. We saw whales from our balcony within 5 minutes of arriving. We enjoyed watching the surf hit the rocks. The condo was just the right size for the two of us.

The condo is beautiful! We were totally blessed with whale sightings right off the third story balcony. The ocean in front of the unit must have delectable food for the gray whales! One day we saw three whales feeding….we were closer to the whales than the whale watching boats!The living room furniture is comfortable.The bedroom windows are facing Highway 101 which is noisy….no one’s fault, just the reality. The bed was uncomfortable for my husband and me as it is an older memory foam type of bed. The tub/shower combination is a bit challenging to get into as the tub’s floor is quite slick. One also has a big step to get into the tub area. Thankfully I was holding onto the grab bar when my feet slipped. The tub/shower does have a risk issue for falling.However, with all that being said, we are grateful we stayed at this condo due to viewing the whales.

Easy check in and check condo in a great location. The management company provides good instructions and information. We had a small issue that was quickly resolved. The views from the balcony are great, we saw many whales.

Best Place to See the Whales

Check-in process was easy, location was great and convenient to everything we needed and wanted to do or see. The view was outstanding. Kitchen was adequate. The property was clean enough, but could use a thorough deep cleaning. We would certainly recommend it and stay here again ourselves.

The condo was clean and beautiful. The views fro the balcony were amazing. Even though July is “off season” for whales, I saw one almost every day. The condo is exactly as described.

Exceeded Our Expectations

Bigger than it looked in the photos, this condo was sparking clean and had all the comforts of home—plus an ocean view and lots of whale sightings! You know it’s the perfect spot when the whale watching boats stop right in front of your balcony. We can’t wait to come back; next time we’ll stay a whole week!

Get out of town

This trip to the coast was on my bucket list of things to do. The place we stayed was everything we were looking for. The Eagles nest room truly made you feel like you were not connected to any other condo.Extremely clean with an amazing view. We will definitely return.

Stormy Weather

We’ve stayed in this particular condo several times and other units as well. The stays are always great. On this stay, the weather was very stormy with wind and rain. Made for awesome waves crashing the rocks below!

Warm & cozy w/amazing view

We loved our stay! The accommodations were warm & inviting! The view from the 3rd floor was amazing! We really enjoyed the warmth & light provided by the gas fireplace during the storm & power outage. It was also great to have an elevator & luggage dolly to assist with settling in & packing up! We will definitely be returning!!!

Pee in the bed

The mattress pad and mattress was stained with urine. We had to wash the bedding twice. Food was also ground into the bed spread. It was gross. Have photos if VRBO wants them. But... they did wave the cleaning fee... Gary Thompson 541-561-6475
