While the house was in an amazing location and we had a good stay, the kitchen was tiny, the carpet and front room furniture was dirty. The house definitely needed cleaned a lot better for the amount of cleaning fee I was charged. There were several missing light bulbs in rooms. The sliding door lock in the kitchen is broken.

Amazing location and well equipped. Only issue is the carpet has lots of stains and needs to be replaced. Easy check in and check out and great communication. Perfect for our needs which was fishing out of Depoe Bay. Thanks

I rarely leave a review but have to with this one. This place has so much potential but the pet stains in carpet and on furniture, and the overwhelming smell of urine was bad, really bad. We stuck it out but nearly left a day early due to the smell. Hot tub was nice and hot but the jets did not work. Whale watching from the deck was superb and we would have sat out there for long periods of time but all chairs (except for one) were broken.

Nice Place and Location!!

We just spend Spring Break at this location. It was stormy and cold, but the house was great. There was a room for everyone and a nicely set up kitchen. The hot tub was wonderful!! We had everything we needed. Some mattresses are worn out though.

Valentines escape

Great spot! Easy walk to all things Depoe Bay. While older it is well appointed, multiple tvs throughout the property and the hot tub is surprisingly private once your vehicle is in place. We will for sure be back.

Besides the incredible view this home offers, I am not sure how this place is still being rented. There was a notice of trustee sale taped on the door upon arrival and the entire home, furniture, and linen had a very strong odor of urine. I called customer service about the smell when we got there and was told a ticket was opened and a local representative would contact me. I never heard from anyone, but someone had time to come by and remove the trustee notice of sale from the door. I had to purchase air fresheners and open windows and doors and that still didn’t get the smell out which was very hard to tolerate. The dishwasher was full of dirty dishes and when we tried to start it to wash them we found out the dishwasher was broken. The chairs on the upstairs balcony were broken and unsafe to sit in and most of the blinds were either non functioning or broken. The hot tub didn’t have bleach in the floater and had a funny smell and the sliding glass door does not lock, they use a large piece of wood to lock it. I hope that someone resolves these issues or stops renting this place. I do not recommend staying here!

Close to the bay, peaceful stay

Property super close to the bay, but also quiet. Some places feel a bit cramped, overall was a great place to stay, close to everywhere I needed to go and still provided enough space for my crew.

Was roomy. Kitchen a bit small but works for Well. Could.use a few more utesels. Mabe some stuff to use with the bbq. But it was good for us overall

Anniversary weekend

My husband, 2 kids and i along with our friends that are also a family of 4 had a great time! The bunk room is perfect for kids. Could use some updating and cosmetic attention (broken outlet covers. Bottom of stove coming apart. Lights not working or dead light bulbs not changed.) But all in all a cute little place for a few days.

Cute but dirty

Convenient location and roomy. Issues with all the carpets having pet stains and the smells that go with that, we went to the store and got carpet cleaner to help. After returning we had to go back to the store for paper towels and toilet paper. Communication with property owner was terrible and not satisfying. BBQ there but not working. Hot tub is next to driveway, next to road.

This place is amazing. Lots of space for everyone. Beautiful views and areas big enough for family to gather together. Close to so much. Watching the waves from the upstairs room was so grounding. Expedia did forget to send check in info and we forgot our switch in the house but besides that it was amazing. The remotes were a little difficult to figure out.

Great weather and lots of room

Plenty of sleeping areas, beds were great. The kitchen was fantastic and loved the upstairs balcony for morning coffee. The living room furniture was not very comfortable. There was a cat smell in the living room. Other than that we would defiantly stay there again.

Great but needs work

Property location was perfect but there were some cleanliness issues. When we arrived the carpet and one bed reeked of urine. There were also other cleanliness issues, but the property manager was EXTREMELY responsive. The local cleaning and maintenance people were fast to respond and we were able to complete our stay. If the owners don't replace the carpet and the mattress upstairs, I wouldn't recommend this property to anyone without pets or anyone that is not ok with the urine smell. All in all the house is beautiful and the location is perfect. If the owners do some repairs and replacements I would give it 5 stars. 5 stars to Vacassa for doing everything they possibly can to make the house enjoyable.

Do Not Stay Here

We arrived later in the evening to find the carpet and sofa cushions all wet as if they had been recently cleaned, but because the house was closed up they were not able to dry. As a result the whole house smelled strongly of mildew on top of pet urine. We informed Vacasa (property management) and we were told someone would reach out but that never happened. The next day we tried our best to air everything out but because some rooms have no windows, there is no central hvac system, and many of the windows don’t open it didn’t help much. That day we remained out of the house as much as possible and stuck to the rooms that had ventilation. We left a day early because we couldn’t stand it and my daughter was having an allergic reaction to the mildew and probably mold. The maintenance person finally did call us after 48 hours and was very nice but really couldn’t do anything to help and we were already leaving. We still haven’t heard anything from Vacasa after reaching out multiple times to try and get help with the situation. Do not stay here.

Adequate at a good location

If you have little kids or pets this might be your place. The location is great, just up from a great coffee shop and shops. And you can see the whales form the deck which is fun. While the house is technically clean the carpet needs a good shampooing, and the walls have a bunch of dings. You can see the hot tub from the street, which is kinda weird. While

Could have been better

Home was not totally ready. Not enough bath towels. Had to call 3 times. No dishwasher soap. Home smells of dog urine. Carpets filthy. Fleas. The carpets need to be replaced. Pet stains everywhere
