What an awesome place! We were in town for my daughter’s wedding with several guests coming in from across the country. This place is the ideal size with lots of room allowing for both friends to gather and folks to get enjoy quiet time. It’s the perfect location with easy access to the lake and downtown evergreen. The host is very friendly and very responsive. Highly recommend.

We loved the property and proximity to town. We were able to walk to the lake and downtown for many meals and touring around. The family room with all the couches is a great room to relax and chill in.I prefer keypad locks, so i do not have to worry about a key, that's a minor issue. There is some road construction going on near the property, so a family with kids would want to be extra careful walking to the lake or downtown. Minor, but its there. Lots of room in the home too. JL the host, was very responsive and exit instructions were easy. A good stay, as advertised!

In Evergreen for family wedding…..9 guests ranging from 4 - 78 years old and we all had a great time!! My little granddaughters (4&6) lived the hot tub and the creek. My 78 year old sister-in-law loved the deer and elk!! We all had a wonderful time. Highly recommend

Family gathering with concert at Red Rocks

Great central location in Evergreen with so much easily within walking distance – restaurants, kayaking, morning pastries, evening libations, shopping, walk at the lake and more. (Nice to avoid driving and parking during crowded times.) We loved watching the deer and fawns relax in the meadow and were excited to see a herd of elk cross the road in front of the house. The house was very clean, and the manager quickly responded to our emails. In July the air conditioner kept the house at a comfortable temperature. There was plenty of room for several cars. The floorplan is unusual but worked well for us. Both of the two bathrooms opened off a hall. There are many beds and hide-a-beds throughout the house. Upstairs there are three bedrooms. Downstairs two bedrooms each have two doors that allow for privacy when closed at night. During the day we left the downstairs bedroom doors open to access the bathroom, game-room, second living room and second kitchen (which have exterior doors). Would definitely enjoy staying at The Dam Overlook again!

Great Location & Comfortable Stay

Stayed here with family - great communication with the host and perfect location and space to accommodate us. We enjoyed watching deer & elk every morning and night. Great location being steps away from downtown Evergreen. Highly recommend!

Brother's Memorial

Such a wonderful enviroment to enjoy family and friends to celebrate our brothers life together. The house provided a home for us to all have different groups conversing all in different areas, the younger generation was able to play games downstairs and older adults playing cards upstairs. Enough room for everyone to sleep and relax. Enough room in refrigerator for leftovers from eating out, holding food for meals and a large enough kitchen for all of us to make and heat-up foods. A great place to stay no matter what your event. Fantastic host, very attentive and understanding. He makes you feel right a home!!! On a scale of 1-10 ... Definitely a 1000+.... Winner! Winner!

Great location. Beautiful House.

The location was in the perfect spot around the Evergreen lake and shops/restaurants. The property was picturesque with trees and wildlife. We had a total of 3 adults and 5 children. There was plenty of space. We loved the Family Room. We had movie night every night while we were there. WiFi was very good. We had multiple devices (Nintendo Switches, phones, tablets) and the signal was good. The shower pressure was really good. Nice details around the house with wood furnishing and mountain decor. We agreed that the house would benefit from having portable A/C units, even during the winter, because the house gets extremely hot and we didn't feel safe keeping the windows open at night. Even with the thermostat turned off, some rooms were miserable. A few us had to sleep in the Family Rooms. Also it would be helpful if there was a floor plan included in the pictures of the house, because one bedroom is at the base of the stairs, so you have to walk through it to get to the rest of the house and the 2nd bathroom. This created a problem for us as we planned the bedrooms prior to actually seeing the house but no one wanted the bedroom that basically doubled as a hallway. We also think the house could benefit from a new set of pans and a toilet seat replacement as these things were visually past their prime. Management was the best because when we had a minor issue, JL came over immediately to help. Communication was great. Overall, we made good memories and had a good time.

Mountain Magic

Family vacation with.a bucket list goal to see a concert at Red Rocks, brought us to Evergreen. We are fortunate to have found this home and JL as our host. Plenty of space to let the toddlers play and the mountain spring in the front yard made it all the better. Lots to do and see here and the home was well appointed which was greatly appreciated. Sometimes the little things like having baggies, tin foil and clear wrap makes all the difference when you are juggling multiple families! Stay here and you will not be disappointed! We will be back soon!
