Truly a Dream Vacation

This beautiful home sits high in the mountains with amazing views. We were visited each morning by hummingbirds and deer as we sat on the deck having our coffee. Sandra is an amazing host, communicating with us about things we needed and leaving recommendations for things to do in and around Evergreen. Easy access to numerous hiking areas as well as visiting Red Rock, Golden and don't forget all the breweries. Looking for a restful and serene vacation, this is the place for you!

Perfect getaway house

We absolutely loved our stay! The property is clean, the owner was amazing and the views are stunning! Quiet and close to Evergreen which is a cute town. A nice 30 min ride to Red Rocks which we did 3 nights! Hope to be back again!

Fantastic place to stay!

Beautiful home, well equipped and amazing views. Air conditioner worked great on some hot June days and the windows open at night kept things comfortable without AC. Hot tub was clean and functional. Lots of wildlife. Fenced in area for dogs by the deck makes bringing the whole family easy. Host was great and very attentive for anything we needed during our stay. A quiet, peaceful place that we look forward to staying at again.

Peaceful getaway with beautiful mountain views

I brought my parents and friend to visit our 2 adult children who have summer jobs in Morrison. For once, the photos were a perfect representation of both the house and the views. We were so happy to able to birdwatch right from the deck and see local fox and deer up close. It gave us the perfect place to relax in the evenings after our adventures. The house is beautiful, clean, and came with detailed directions and ideas for outings. We ate dinner in Evergreen two nights and both places were delicious. We love this area in Colorado and hope to be back soon.

This was our second time staying here - the house, town, and property are great however the owners stayed in the guest cabin (that is 50 feet from the house) the entire time and did not notify us they would be staying there until the day of check-in. When we stayed the last time we were told no one else would be staying in the cabin if we didn't rent it. It also took away from the feeling of privacy that is advertised in the property description. I would recommend confirming with them if they will be staying there before you book.

You Will Love This Place

This is truly the nicest place to stay, it is so clean and neat and stocked with everything you could need. Not to mention the view could not be any prettier and I am talking from every window in the house, you can see for miles and it is breathtaking and the perfect little town is very near, I love all the little shops and restaurants.

Awesome in every way

We had a wonderful stay, the view was beautiful. The house was clean, comfy and cozy. Everything we needed was right at our fingertips. We loved every minute. I already booked another stay and can't wait to get back..Oh and the town of Evergreen is so neat, the shops and restaurants are great..Just over all a great place to visit.

Perfect location for an Evergreen Lakehouse wedding

The proximity to downtown Evergreen and all of our pre-wedding and wedding activities was great! We enjoyed the mountain vista and wildlife viewing. The property is peaceful and relaxing as well. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils, glassware, etc. Communication with Sandra was easy and efficient.

The positive is the view is fantastic and the beds were comfortable enough. The two bathrooms had been redone and were quite nice, though the shower handle in the main bathroom was loose and there was just a pedestal sink in the second floor bathroom, making it difficult to put your stuff somewhere. The stopper in the bathtub did not fit, though if you held it there while the water was running, it would eventually stay. There was one kitchen hand towel and one dishrag; no tea towels to dry dishes. We were given 5 dishwasher tablets for a two-week stay. Not all soap dispensers were full. There was one starter roll of toilet paper in each bathroom; the rest you had to supply yourself. The loft bed is extraordinarily dangerous, especially for kids. You have to climb 10 steps on the ladder to climb into it, with NO railings to prevent someone from falling out. The windows were extremely dirty. I cleaned the grill before we used it but one of the burners doesn't work and neither does the electric starter. The temp only got to 350 degrees. There is only one wine glass with LOTS of margarita glasses. Plenty of coffee cups, drinking glasses and silverware. The cookie sheets were well used and the oven mitts were too dirty to want to use. A deck chair with broken metal slats chewed up my husband's pants. Had to buy a coffee pot for the cabin (was reimbursed). Accumulated dust on the ceiling fans. Had to sweep floors when we got there. Place needs attention from the owner.

Gorgeous Views

We loved staying here! The best part was the deck and also all the windows that displayed the most breathtaking views! I rented the home for my family for a wedding in Littleton. The place was perfect for us and about 30 minutes from where we needed to go! Would stay here again!

Absolutely Perfect!

The house is beautiful, and the location is perfect. The view deserves a very special mention. We were amazed at how the movement of a cloud or the angle of the sun could change the spectacular view. Always amazing! The location was great to meet up with our daughter in Denver or head to Boulder or Aspen. We had a great vacation!!

We stayed at this rental for a family wedding in the area. The location is close to Evergreen, but once you’re “up the hill”, it is so private, and the views are amazing. There is plenty of room for family members to spread out and the kitchen had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our time here, and you will too!!

Hours upon hours spent on the huge deck with an incredible view in this extremely private and cozy home in the mountains yet only 30 minutes to downtown. Loved it so much we’re already booked for next summer!
