The yurt worked out great for me and a friend! The yurt is on Private property with deep history to the original "Colorado Territory" which adds a historical flavor to the property. The host was very gracious and easy going and easy to talk with. It is a bit rustic there but not any more so then what the host's write up describes the property as. It was Super convenient to stay there for a concert night at Red Rocks; comfortable and kind of like camping without any crowds to battle. I am very glad I found this place to stay for the night!

Poor
I reached out to the property owner multiple times and didn’t get any response before our trip. The tent was out of propane and it was below freezing. The previous guests left used sheets under the bed so there was nothing for us to use. Location is really close to red rock but we were quite disappointed.

This was the perfect spot our 1 extra day that wasn’t planned.. the interstate is very close.. for a light sleeper ear plugs are helpful.. overall it’s a nice place for a quick shower and a good rest..

Not ideal for hot weather
The yurt was clean enough but there was absolutely no shade and so it was very hot and uncomfortable (July). Phone charger didn’t work and neither did the internet. The host wasn’t very responsive. Perhaps a different time of year would’ve been better.

Convenient location for a red rocks show
There were what seemed like used sheets on the bed from the previous guest and the charging station did not have any power to charge our phones. We were prepared with our own blankets for the bed. Otherwise it was a good place to stay if you live far from Red Rocks and don't want to drive home after a concert.

Perfect for a red rocks concert
The property was exactly what I expected. The yurt/tent was cute and worked. Just be aware of the traffic on the highway that you'll hear all night, but the host warns about that.

Matthews Winters Park Yurt
Nice tent/yurt with more supplies than listed in the description. Nice solar shower and clean/stocked porta-potty. Beautiful surroundings and lots of birds. Really nice! Only downside:. Traffic noise with highway about 200 yards above.

Yurt
Great yurt! Really enjoyed our stay. Hiking trails are just outside the door. There’s a brewery and convenience store 5 minutes away. Spent our days hiking and our evenings at red rocks watching concerts. Site was perfect for our needs. Dennis is a great guy and very helpful. We’ll be back.

Perfect location for Red Rocks concert
My son and two friends took a Senior road trip to Colorado and stayed here for one night. Dennis was great at emailing back for any question I had. A neat camping experience to have the yurt. They loved the set up, they said the shower was cool and the best was how easy it was to get to the amphitheater.

Red Rocks Experience
We were in the area for an epic performance at Red Rocks. We were able to hike back after and avoid all of the chaos. Plus we didn't have to worry about a potential DUI. Great location.

Simple accomodations
Don't expect much more than a tent, bed, clean linen, simple shower, and port-o-let. Road noise from I70 is an issue so bring ear plugs. The location next to Red Rocks and mountain bike trails makes it all worth it. Bring a tarp or pop-up for shade.

Falsche Beschreibung
Guten Tag, die Beschreibungen der Angebote von Dennis sind durcheinander geraten. Die Angebote mit Zelt beinhalten ausschließlich ein Zelt bzw. 2 Zelte. Die Beschreibung des dazugehörigen Komforts ist nicht richtig. Es gibt ein Dixi und einen im Baum hängenden Wasserbeutel. Keinen Strom, keine Kochmöglichkeit, kein Bad, kein Internet… Die Beschreibung des Komforts betrifft ein wunderschönes altes Haus, welches hochpreisig gemietet werden kann. Für dieses treffen die positiven Bewertungen zu 100 % zu. Die Lage des Objektes insgesamt ist hervorragend. Es dürfte auch im Interesse des Eigentümers liegen, die Beschreibungen zu differenzieren.

They rent a yurt and ask for a kitchen and washer and dryer, give me a break! all please read listing before giving a bad review, this is a problem , its not fair, I went over the top for this guest, I upgraded them for 4 days and I lost money and I get a 3. No way. READ THE LISTING

Wake up yo fresh mountain air on private property !
Dennis was a great host ! When we booked our trip and planned to stay in a yurt, we never expected a storm to hit and the temperatures to drop below 40° at night ! Dennis was gracious and provided us a space heater and also many blankets. Despite the frigid temps and howling wind. we stayed perfectly warm. The bed was comfortable and we awoke in the morning to a beautiful views in the fresh mountain air ! This place couldn’t be closer to Red Rocks amphitheater and hiking ! We would definitely stay again !

Perfect quick getaway
Proximity to Red Rocks Amphitheatre was amazing. Several different hiking running trails. Easily accessed by Uber- check in was easy and quick

Perfect Location
This was the perfect location for my stay. Only 5mins from Red Rocks, close to neighboring towns. Property is located inside a state park and beautiful view surround you. Dennis was extremely helpful with anything I needed and provided quite a few essentials. Bed was comfy and that's all I really needed.
