Beautiful bush location

The house was excellent for our needs with 5 adults and 3 children. The house was well presented and fitted out. Beautiful bush location, very quiet and peaceful. A bit of inconsistency with the listing re: check in time and internet. There is wifi but was very weak and woukd drop out (if you could connect). Would highly recomend this house.

Serene getaway.

A cute little home, nestled just out of town provided quite the peaceful experience. We found ourselves at comfortable distance walking through bushland trails, and the waterfront. Local tourist attractions were never far to drive, and the views made up for the longer journeys.

Great House in Great location

Great house in great location close to Ocean Beach and town and short drive to Greens Pool. Gorgeous fireplace. Well equipped kitchen. Interior walls and doors could do with a lick of paint and some better mattresses would make this a 5 star holiday house.

Awesome house just needs a serious update

This house was awesome, stayed here with my family for Easter. The kitchen facilities were awesome, had everything you needed to stay at the house. Fire place was amazing and kept us warm on a very comfy couch. Bathrooms are really good and water is hot. Be warned there is no to little reception at the house unless you are out on the drive way or on the front deck. Considering wifi isn’t included this is extremely annoying, especially with teens. The TV needs to be updated and is missing half the chanel’s (we couldn’t watch the footy). The kids bedroom bunk beds need an attention as they seem unsteady. Would also appreciate a number at the top of the driveway to find the house. The driveway is terrible to get down/up, especially in a small car that struggles on steep gravel. The trees need trimming back around the driveway as they scratched our car too. Apart from this, was an excellent stay! If these got attended to we would definitely be back!

Home is amazing and perfect for a Denmark stay. Well appointed and spacious. Perfect home for a large family or group. The spa was a big disappointment. It smelt very mouldy when we first arrived and using the spa for the first time you could see why. Big chunks of mould. The whole home needs a good thorough clean, cobwebs- dust. Only a suggestion- put labels on the outside of the cupboards in kitchen.

Private paradise

Beautiful private property in stunning location between town and ocean beach. The house is open plan living with wood fire in the centre. We could not have been more warm or comfortable. Highly recommend for any occasion- families, group of mates or romantic getaway this is the spot! We will be back Elani

A peaceful and relaxing haven

My husband and I stayed at Braidwood Escape for a bit over two weeks in July, and found it a wonderful place to stay. It is in a great location. We were able to use defined walking tracks, such as the Bibbulmun, directly from the house to walk to the lovely cafes in Denmark, about a 45 minute walk each way. We also followed the Bibbulmun track in the other direction, along the inlet, which was just beautiful. The area around the house is very quiet and peaceful, which we were delighted with. All we could hear was birdsong! We very much enjoyed both the outdoor decks on both sides of the house, which allowed us to follow the winter sun. The home was well appointed, with an excellent selection of good quality and good sized cooking pots and equipment, as well as crockery, cutlery, etc. There was plenty of firewood for the enclosed fireplace, which we found to be a lovely (and essential!) way to heat the house in winter time. The master bathroom is especially nice, with a good size spa bath. The hot water in the home is fantastic, excellent pressure and piping hot, with great quality hand-held shower head options in both bathrooms. We found the bed comfortable and the bedding perfect for the time of year. The lounge-room sofas were wonderful, very comfortable, with plenty of room for lounging. The information provided by the hosts was very well organized and comprehensive. Overall, it was a great stay, in a home that was light-filled, with a clean, open and peaceful ambiance.

Very spacious and quiet property in a lovely corner of Denmark. Overall an excellent stay, however would suggest keeping a few staples in stock such as oil for the BBQ, paper towels, foil etc.

Absolutely loved the location & the layout of the house was perfect for x2 families.

We enjoyed the beautiful Braidwood Escape & it’s surroundings. The highlight of our stay was the amazing deck over looking the bush & the location. This was the perfect space for the whole family to enjoy. It did feel a bit overpriced with the additional charge per head for children sharing one room but understand this time of year can incur a surcharge. Small improvements include oiling the door to the bedrooms as this squeaked loudly, nicer duvet covers to make it feel ‘higher end’ to match the price being paid paid & coffee machine. Otherwise can’t fault all the amenities included. Thanks Darren & Catherine for a lovely stay ☺️

It’s a beautiful home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the beautiful property Braidwood, everything was perfect except the fact that the power went off at 9am on the Saturday morning till the afternoon, we weren’t told about it and we were actually going to a wedding that day (the reason for our stay!) there was no hot water that day either and we all had to have cold showers, the girls luckily were able to have their hair blow dried at a salon. It was very annoying but we made do and got over it!😅
