We had a 3 night stay just prior to Christmas, arriving the day before a snowstorm! The check in process was quick & easy and directions straightforward. Just a note that the roads in the area can get quite icy in winter months, especially up to Mt Baker, so AWD & snow tires are a must.
Our first impression of the place was great, it was warm and welcoming, everything we needed was there, including a snow shovel and brush for our car (which came in handy as there was over a foot of snow that fell our first night).
The living area was lovely and spacious and did not feel crowded with 6 of us staying there (4 adults and 2 young children). The TV was huge and was great for family movies! Our kids are used to navigating stairs, but this could be a challenge for others as it’s a large staircase to the upper level. The kitchen was big and equipped with basically everything we needed. Some parchment paper, aluminum foil & cling wrap would be handy though!
Bedrooms were all very comfortable and the bathrooms were nice and clean. The powder room downstairs was very convenient, as was the mud room/laundry which we utilized.
While other reviews have mentioned the road, this did not bother us. Perhaps the snow meant it was quieter than usual and it was too cold to have windows open, so there were no issues there for us at all.
We would absolutely return again and hope to be able to soon!
