We enjoyed our stay. The property brought back memories of our home we lived in 36 years ago. I recommend it to anyone who likes a forested setting close to a mountain and river. Thank you to the owners for providing a nice place to stay.

Beautiful cabin will definitely come back
We wanted to have some quite family time and be together for thanksgiving. This cabin was amazing! The rooms were beautiful and serene. The kitchen had all you need to cook a thanksgiving meal. Games and TV plus a dvd player. All in all do not hesitate to book this cabin. Loved every minute of it!

Lovely forest spot
We had a great stay at this beautiful cabin. The beds are actually comfortable! It was so nice to stay at a nice cabin that has comfy beds that actually match the price. A+! The property itself is lovely, with a beautiful open space in front of the home, fire pit for when there isn't a fire ban, and close access to all the beautiful nature the area has to offer. Things to note: The area is remote, so while there is wifi, it is INCREDIBLY slow (4-5 mbps). It's enough for streaming one thing at a time, but not great for trying to get work done. Also, you're in the country, so it's pretty impossible to keep mice out. Just make sure your food is put away when you leave and you'll be just fine. We will definitely be back to this cabin and plan to bring friends next! Adding a hot tub would be the icing on the cake... :)

Perfect spot for a forest getaway!
We really enjoyed our stay! The house was clean and had all the essentials. Beds were comfortable. Leb was a great host, wonderful at communicating with us! This was the perfect quiet spot we were looking for!

Great spot to stay and ski!
Overall this was the perfect place to stay for a weekend of boarding at Mt. Baker. The only thing we were disappointed about was that there was no fire wood for the wood stove and fire pit. And — the one thing that would make it better would be a hot tub!

Peaceful and private.
Excellent stay. All the rooms were clean and spacious. The only downside is windows doesn’t have blinds so it got cold at night. However, there were plenty of blankets for you to cozy up.

Wonderful Family Vacation
We were pleasantly surprised at how wonderful this cabin was! We loved how modern and clean it was and literally had everything we needed. The quality of everything in the home was top notch and we totally enjoyed our stay. My family came from all over the country to reunite and this was the perfect space for it. Our original plan was to go to North Cascades but we liked the area so much we spent two days at Mt. Baker. We would definitely love to return again.

Peaceful stay in the woods
My family (two adults, two kids under 8) had a quick trip and it was just what we were looking for. We wanted easy access to Artist Point, somewhere quiet, and somewhere clean. Leb’s communication was great, and he worked with me to figure things out when we had a change in plans. The cabin comfortably slept our family with a bed to spare with the loft. It was very clean and uncluttered. We would definitely return.

Very Unique Cabin!
Our Bible group took a little retreat. It’s a very Wonderful private property, loved the area, the cabin is very unique, clean and very well taken care of. Loved everything about it. Would definitely visit again.

Forest Wonderland!
Such a unique property with interesting and thoughtful touches. Every window has a beautiful view of the forest giving you the feeling of seclusion even though you are minutes away from town! Really enjoyed it here and want to come back already!

Good stay
Lovely yard and comfortable house. Were a bit disappointed that there was no firewood available for the new wood stove or the campfire. Also, there were few games and none for littles. However, the place was beautiful and the kitchen was spectacular

Cozy warm cabin
We stayed here for access to ski Mount Baker and had a wonderful time. The cabin was really nice and cozy for our crew. We made most meals with the fully equipped kitchen. It was so much fun! Location is great for skiing but also to walk down to the river.

Lovely escape close to the mountains
Cabin was clean, large, and comfortable. We loved the front porch and cooking in the kitchen. Great home-base for hiking. Would recommend people stop in for groceries/supplies before arriving as there were not too many food options close by (the 4 of us are vegans so it limited options).

Great place to stay for Mt. Baker access!
This was our second time staying at this home while we skied at Mt. Baker. It's a great location and the house was great. The kitchen is well stocked so it was easy to make breakfast. There are some restaurants nearby so takeout was easy. Would stay again!

Perfect Base PNW Adventure
We had a mini-college reunion and this property met our needs perfectly. The spacious kitchen with ample seating made it fun to make our own meals and graze on snacks, the fire pit was a great spot to relax after a long day of hiking and the living room was comfy for when the rain kept us from the fire pit.

Enchanting Getaway
This property was absolutely the vacation my Fiancee and I were hoping for. The house is beautiful and set off the road in such a way you feel the solitude of the greater area, while still being near enough to convenience. Property manager made themselves readily available in case we needed anything . We will most certainly be making another trip in the future!

Gorgeous Place
Amazing piece of property. My wife and I felt like we could sit on the front porch and stare at the trees forever! Super quiet, private, and clean. Short drive to the town of Glacier, and super close to the river and tons of hiking trails. Communication with the owner was easy-peasy. We'd definately stay again one day!

Magical Vacation
We spent ten nights at Leb's cabin and had a wonderful time (despite the bout of intense heat!). My husband and I traveled with our five kids (13, 11, 9, 7 & 4) and our family friend, so 8 people total. Our kids like being cozy together, so all of them typically slept on the queen bed and the loft was primarily unused. The big island in the kitchen was great for the kids to sit at to eat, and we used the picnic table outside several times both for dining and for projects. Our kids enjoyed playing outside with water guns, laser tag & ring stix, which we brought with us. They all desperately needed this open outdoor area to play in after months of distance learning! There were a couple of dogs that periodically came onto the property towards the evening, but thankfully they never interrupted the kids playtime during the day. We had plenty of space at the coffee table inside for board games and puzzles, and our youngest boy celebrated his 7th birthday here and said it was his best birthday yet. The spacious refrigerator was perfect for containing everything needed to feed our brood, and my husband discovered that the local grocery store had some gluten free options! The gas grill & fire pit were great too! We brought kids camp chairs and a kiddie picnic table with us, which we needed for the quantity of tushies we had with us. This property is clearly loved and well taken care of. A lot of work has been put into it and Leb shared some plans for more he intends to add to it. All of us would love to come back again. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us. We were talking just tonight about how amazing our summer has been already and it's only just begun!

Great getaway—and not too remote.
We spent a lovely week in this home off Mt Baker Hwy. It has a nicely wooded property and fire ring for evening camp fires. Although the overall location is a bit remote, we found a small but well-stocked grocery store and a delicious bakery nearby. We had brought most of our groceries and the kitchen was well-equipped for us to cook our own meals. We went hiking in different locations every day—Deception Pass, Fragrance Lake, and Nooksack River. It was mid-June and most of the higher trails were impassable because of the snow but we did drive up to the ski area for some great views of Baker’s peak. All told, a nice visit to the North Cascades. Two notes for visitors—there is wifi but to use it for work, we had to limit access to one guest at a time. Also, eye masks may be helpful if you don’t want to wake at the earliest light of dawn.

Awesome Getaway Spot!
The property met all expectations and was great for a long weekend getaway. Check in was easy and streamlined, no crazy house rules and a really cool designed central kitchen, our kiddo couldn't resist sleeping in the loft bed.

Overall I'd say our few-days stay was very good. Experice of being in a wood house almost isolated from neighbors with nice area outside and inside was just terrific. Few "nits": - Internet connection was not very stable and top 5Mbps :/ - TV box was not working

Recently remodeled cabin near Baker
This property has been extensively renovated. Beautiful grounds, great deck, lots of natural light. Furnishings are minimalist but tasteful. Very relaxing spot!

Modern cabin in the woods
Great property. Really enjoyed using the space. Great layout. Only small issues like no paper towels, the microwave door is broken so had to hold it to use it. And downstairs bathroom drain may be blocked. Will look to book again if we are in the area again.

Deer and Snow
Greeted with a fresh snow fall, and deer on the porch, this is a very comfortable, lovely designed cabin perfectly placed to enjoy the riches of Mt Baker. Four nights was not nearly long enough. The owners were super responsive, pleasant, and easy to work with! We’ll be back.

Great place to stay for Mt. Baker access!
This home is super clean and has everything you need for a great stay. We came for a ski weekend at Mt. Baker and this has to be one of the closest and nicest places to stay around the ski area. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware and utensils. There are some cute restaurants nearby if you would rather pick up food or eat out. We hope to stay here again!

Fantastic place to stay!
This was the perfect place to stay for my family. Close to amazing skiing, gorgeous views of the property from every window and the house is just as great as the pictures! The kitchen is well stocked and beautiful. The island was a great place for game night. The whole family said the beds were comfy, although the low bed was difficult for my 72 yr old mom to get out of. We are looking forward to staying here again. We had a couple questions for Leb, the owner, he was very responsive, nice and great to work with. I definitely recommend staying here!

Christmas ski trip
Just spent 3 days at this house with my family. The house is beautiful, stylish, with plenty of wonderful details, spotless and very well equipped. During the day we went to ski to Mount Baker and this house is at a great location for skiers. The forest and the garden were great too despite we didn’t spend much time there due the weather. I highly recommend this house and hope to book it again in the future.

Lovely get away in Glacier
This a beautiful, modern hideaway tucked back in amongst the trees. Our trip for a few families to spend the weekend skiing together at Baker was wonderful. The cabin is well equipped and comfortable. It is was bit difficult for us to find in the dark with a tree having fallen on one of the access roads and lacking a house number, but that was a small price to pay and only added to the sense of adventure. Definitely recommend and would stay again!

Beautiful cabin in the woods
We shared this house with some friends for a weekend get away. The house was immaculately clean, private and had plenty of room for the 6 of us. We were up at Baker during the days but enjoyed cooking dinner in the house and then visiting friends in Glacier, which was just minutes away. I highly recommend staying here.

Thank you, Avdeep! SO happy you guys enjoyed our home and the comfy beds. You will have to come back and stay here again as a hot tub is in the works! We have it wired for one already, just deciding where to put it and how to protect it from the elements.... Thanks again!

Not quite ready for prime time
I think this is going to be a very nice place but it is not quite there yet. Some of the good points: It is a spacious house nicely set in a re-growing forest. Deer came to browse the bushes. Lots of windows. Kitchen is well provisioned (although a cheese grater would be useful) , with new cookware and adequate place settings . Owner is responsive & helpful. Some things need work: Spare and hard edged. No window coverings, lots of hard surfaces, and few furnishings does not make for a cozy feeling. Wood burning stove/fireplace noted in amenities not present. There is a spot for one but it has not been installed. Loft in north bedroom does not have a rail. We were able to install a portable railing that attaches to the mattress. This was in a box on the floor. It felt rather flimsy to me. If you have active or small children you might not be comfortable with them sleeping/playing there. Entryway could use some hooks for coats and a bench for sitting and removing shoes (requested by signage). No towel racks in downstairs bathroom, only 1 in upstairs bathroom. Inadequate dining seating. Only 4 stools at built in concrete counter/table. Extra people have to stand or use the the upholstered sitting area chairs. Large screen TV does not have cable access. If you have a Netflix subscription you can enter the info into the TV remote (it is a bit clumsy). The bed is the only furnishing in the bedrooms. It would be nice to have a reading lamp, dresser or desk and chair, especially in the large master bedroom. Our cell phones did not work and there is not a land line.

Perfect getaway for group of families and friends
First off, communication from Leb was always very prompt and professional. Our family and friends were looking for a place to book so we could ski/board Baker on a couple of days. This location is perfect for that. You're a 30 minute drive to the mountain and less than a 10 minute drive, east or west, from local stores and restaurants. Directions for the place were very straight forward and easy to follow, especially since we arrived well into the dark evening (no highway lights). Their newly built house is beautiful. The living spaces and bedrooms have everything that you need, although, they may come across as minimalistic, but we, personally, prefer that. I assume that it's because it's so new, there were a few things that would have been nice to have such as coat hooks in the main entrance to help organize everyone's outdoor gear. And, also window blinds, because at the moment, there aren't any. Each bedroom features a low profile style bed, and even though for most its manageable, it wasn't as easy for my 8 month pregnant sister-in-law, so just to keep in mind. The kitchen is beautiful and very well equipped with all of your basic cooking needs. The open floor concept between the entrance, kitchen and living room catered well to our group as we were all family and love spending time with each other and sharing our space. I am considering re-booking this place for a future girls' getaway in the summer (if it's available) as the large outdoor porch would be perfect for late night star gazing and relaxing. Our family is also already thinking of making it an annual tradition to book Leb's place, if they'll have us again!

Most exciting is a custom made coat rack at the entrance made with locally reclaimed barn wood and metal fabricated by a local artist along with a local cedar slab bench with matching rusted I beam catch from island to sit down and get out of your gear. The downstairs bedrooms will all get blinds as well. You are totally welcome anytime! Beautiful and clean cabin in a stunning location, and close to Baker!
I stayed here with a few other friends for a long weekend to get some skiing in at Baker. The cabin address comes up as Deming, though it is only a few miles outside of Glacier, making it only 30 minutes from the mountain. It is in a beautiful and quiet area surrounded by huge cedars and moss laden trees. Walk inside, and you are greeted with an amazing open-layout kitchen with large windows looking out upon a huge deck that is partially covered by an upper deck. Perfect for sitting outside to look at the stars or listening to the rain! The bedrooms are spacious with large beds that envelope you after a day at the mountain. A great setting for skiing, cooking, and spending time with friends (one of our friends was even able to go fly-fish the Nooksack just 5 minutes away!) This is the perfect getaway for anyone seeking a pristine mountain retreat. Thank you Leb & Vicki!
